Why is the picture of this gas range show it’s a “slide in”  but listed as a free standing in the description? I’m looking for a slide in but this is very confusing. Thanks

Rated 3 out of 5 by John from Ticked off I ordered a gas range with a conversion to LP and I ordered it to be installed. It took 4 months to be delivered and while the delivery guys were great, they did not do an install and I discovered it had not been converted to LP. So I'm stuck with a great looking range and not fully functional. I was able to order the LP conversion kit myself and I changed out the range burner orifices, simple enough. Not so much for the regulator and the oven adjustment. I am not a skilled appliance technician. I'm ticked off that I have to hire someone to come in and make sure the unit is safe with a regulator adjustment and an oven burner adjustment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my old gas range that wasn't accurate in heating that came with the house we bought a year ago. This new gas range was a huge improvement since I am one that really cooks many different types of cusines. I love the low simmer setting. I like the grill arrangement and the 5 burners. I also like looks of the stovetop not having a raised back for controls . Another feature is it simplicity. The oven controls are easy to use and intuitive. The only slight negative is that the steel seems not as thick/sturdy as older ranges, it fells lighter weight. But that hasn't caused any problems.

Like others hsve stated, our gas line sticks out and the back plate prevents the stove from being pushed back. As a result I have touched the stove controls accidentally many times which has resulted in gas flowing, although not on. Only the smell of gas alerts me. Also when I turn the oven off, I hear rattling and humming noises for almost 20 minutes before the oven completely shuts off. I am not happy with the purchase. Due to shipping delays we waited longer than expected. I can't imagine trying to order another stove and waiting.

Two things that stand out that could be better. The oven grates are very thin and do not have adequate Stopping when you pull on them. Could be an accident waiting to happen. The second is 5th burner. It is round rather than elongated. The top is stamped in that manner. Found that a bit deceptive. An elongated burner would support new pot designs. I wonder if that was an option when I ordered this item. The stove is well made. The knobs could have sturdier They are plastic but appear to be metal. Again a bit of smoke and mirrors

Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy to own it from Very nice Gas Range Overall , I am loving my new stainless steel gas oven range. It is an attractive addition to the kitchen. I would like to make one continuous improvement suggestion which is also a potential safety addition. I have noticed that it is very easy to accidentally brush up against the burner controls and turn them on. If they turn to the left just enough, they can allow gas to escape without the igniter clicking to let you know it is trying to activate. It would be nice if in order to turn the dial that you would have to slightly push the knob in before turning the control. I think that would solve the issue. Other than that I love this new gas stove.

Rated 3 out of 5 by PS Debbie from Nice looking but hard to keep nice looking [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had for about nine months now, and the black ceramic top shows dust within a few hours of cleaning with anything from soap & water to a special ceramic cleaner, and it still looks smudged. Takes some real elbow grease and time to make it look like new again. I wish I had either gotten a white one or at least a stainless steel top instead of the black, although I'm not sure that would be much better? I had no idea it would be so much work keeping it looking clean. I don't even use it very much. And the oven makes popping noises when it's cooking, and I thought that only happened when brand new.

It is not a convection oven, but It has some sort of fan that I think was meant to be a cooling fan once the oven turns off. It makes a very annoying buzzing sound that makes you think there’s something wrong with the oven, so you just keep looking at the thing, wondering if it’s ok because it’s so annoying – like nails on a chalkboard annoying. It’s not extremely loud, just sooo annoying. If it were meant as a cooling fan, it should come on after the oven is turned off, but the fan runs from start to end. Had I been able to test it before buying, I would have said no to this model in less than 30 seconds. Love my Frigidaire freezer and refrigerator; their range is an epic fail.

Boils water real fast on the super burner, bakes evenly and looks great! The stove heats up very fast as well, so there’s no waiting around really for the stove to get to a certain temperature. The continous grates are so helpful because you don’t have to worry about anything toppling over. I would recommend this range to anyone who wants an applicant that both works and looks great! We’re very happy with the purchase.

The oven and range burners heat well and evenly. I’ve used the self-cleaning feature once and it worked well. The storage area underneath holds plenty of lids and cast iron utensils. The reason I gave it four stars instead of a five-star rating is that the oven window allowed moisture between the panes and left several burnt stains that cannot be cleaned. I question the quality of the seal of the oven door, and it just plain looks bad. If this is happening when the unit is new, how will the oven window look in a few years?

Yes there is a fan that runs when the oven is on and cooling down but it is a faint noise and NBD. I love being able to slide heavy pots from burner to burner without having to lift them. When installed the oven wouldn’t slide all the way back to the wall because the gas pipe from the wall stuck up too high. Called a plumber who easily turned the pipe so the stove could slide back. I looked for months for the right oven/stove. I’m very happy with my choice. You will be too.

The controls are easy to use. Customer service was great as I contacted them about a repetive clicking sound when the oven was on. They arranged for the repair service, fan was replaced and clicking stopped. (This was not a convection fan) Overall a great range. The only reason for 4 stars is I prefer black grates and burner caps. Seasoning the grates darkened them so that helped.

HOWEVER, the knobs on the front are beyond hyper sensitive. There is no need to even push them in to turn the burner on. The first day we had it I barely leaned bushed up on the front and the burner came right on. I told my husband, who thought I was being overly dramatic. The next day he did the same. Within 3 days of having it, my husban, mom and I all had turned the burners on without trying, that 3 adults. DO NOT RECOMEND IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN OR PETS. I would imagine it won't be long before there is a recall if all are as sensitive as ours. I went to the store in person to try other ranges knobs and none even got close to how ours function.

We had to replace an old maytag oven that has been in our kitchen since we moved in. This oven has plenty of features that our old oven did not have including a button that allows us to lock the oven to prevent our small children from being able to open it when it is turned on. We also love that it is stainless steel which looks beautiful in our kitchen and holds up to little dirty hands sometimes messy cooking. Overall we are really pleased with this oven and it didn't break our bank. Thank you Frigidaire for a wonderful new addition to our home!

I've always enjoyed cooking with gas, but have never owned a home with gas service. When my electric range broke, I decided to get a liquid propane tank and switch to gas, and I'm so glad that I did. This range heats up quickly and evenly and is a joy to use. I especially like the fact that it has five burners. It's so much easier to regulate the temperature with a gas stove. The oven also works just fine. I considered more expensive ranges, but this one had all of the features I need and it looks fantastic in my kitchen. I'm very satisfied with my decision to purchase this range.

When it was delivered, it would not fit into the drop in space. It was 1/8” too wide. That left two options: one was to grind or cut the granite counter top or find a slightly narrower range. Neither option was a good one. I decided on a third option and that was to cut the edge of the range, which I did. It is now installed in the appropriate space. Less than 20 years ago we bought a drop in range and since, manufacturers have changed all the parameters by small amounts which has created untold headaches for homeowners.

I love the fact that the top has so much surface area plus the fifth burner. The stove itself so far has done a great job at being at the correct temperature and baking. The fan continues to run after the oven is shut off. The first time it happened I was nervous that there was a problem with the stove. Not the case. Everything is fine; that’s just how the stove operates. I only gave it four stars because I think the labels near the controls are cheap looking and the fan noise is a bit louder than my old oven. But I would recommend purchasing this. I think it looks great.

The door on my range will not stay open. This is very dangerous when you’re taking hot food out of the oven. Frigidaire sent out a repairman who replaced the hinges. This did not fix the problem. Frigidaire sent out a second repairman who has ordered another set of hinges to see if he can fix the door. This has been going on for almost a month. Customer service has been very nice to deal with but the problem persists. Also, I wanted the controls on the front of the range however, if you barely touch or lean into them they turn on. Another dangerous issue.

Burner knobs don’t have the push and turn to prevent accidentally bumping and turning the burner gas on. Top takes a little effort to keep smudge free. Owners manual talks about turning oven on to 400 for like 20-30 minutes to burn off any residual oil in the oven off. I have a vented 300 CFM vented microwave hood over my range and during the burn off with the hood on high the smoke was so thick the vent could not exhaust quickly enough and smoke up the house. Other than these slight concerns, the stove and oven cook good and it looks good.

I love the way it cooks & bakes. Very consistent. The knobs are plastic & feel cheap. They are also very easy to accidentally turn on, which is a little unnerving. You need to only slightly lean against the knob and if you make a motion to the side, it's possible to engage the lighter mechanism and activate the flame. Now that we are aware that this may happen we are very conscientious of working around the knobs. All in all, I love the range and would recommend it! Just wish it had a more sturdy feel.

Lights up great, love that I can remove the knobs and the gas housing rings for easy cleaning. What I did not like was the horrible blue super sticky tape that it came with across the top of the control panel. The installers removed the tape but there was still TONS of adhesive. It was so hard to get off I actually called the store and asked how to remove it. They were very aware of this issue and get complaints all the time...they suggested Goo Be Gone, which I used and it did work but it was still quite a bit of work to get it off. Except for that...would have been 5 stars!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Helmut from Nice product, bad quality. We received the brand new gas range in August 2000 and the igniter of one burner did not work. The factory arranged a local service call and they found the cable to the igniter was pinched and grounded the ignition impulse. Problem solved. A few days later we wanted to use the oven but the little indicator lights on the control panel are not visible. I reported this problem by email to the factory twice with no answer at all. The oven works but we have no control of it, so it is useless. The reported problem is still not acknowledged by the factory.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starting with delivery, this is the best packed appliance or anything else I’ve ever received. There was no damage whatsoever on arrival. The stove looks fantastic installed. However, it feels flimsy and I had to be careful not to dent it pushing it into place! Unfortunately, I have a much bigger concern. The racks it came with are shedding the chrome like confetti! I’m trying to reach the company now to get replacements.

We were looking for a basic range at a reasonable cost and with minimal electronics. This model FFGH3054US was our best choice. We also did not like other similar models with the griddle in the middle as we felt that we would not use the griddle that often and it would not allow us to use the center burner without the griddle. So far the range has performed well with no problems. Time will tell. P.S. A broiler pan was not included with the range but it would have been nice to have one included. Fortunately we kept our old one.

It's a great value for a slide in gas range. Looks great, and hard to beat price point for the modern slide in look. The burners work great and offer awesome precision. The igniter works great and heats the oven up within minutes. This would definitley be a 5 star rating, but theres a slight noise from gas flow over the regulator valve from the date of installation. That may be normal for gas ovens (this is my first one), and my wife doesn't even notice it. However, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention it to any potential buyers. Overall very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy it again.

Functionality is intuitive and the overall look is quite stylish. Our range was installed and in use for two days before we realized the front control panel is on crooked. We called the manufacturer, and they are sending someone out next week to repair. I'm impressed with their responsiveness. On the range itself, my only complaint is that the burner controls have bright red lines on the knobs that really jump out (the entire appliance is otherwise black) and it makes the range look cheap in my opinion. I used a Sharpie marker and covered up the red lines, and now I'm happy!

I had no idea that my new Frigidaire gas range would actually be so much better. The grates on top are not cumbersome to lift. The surface of the “pan” below the grates is so easy to wipe clean. The burners ignite quickly and it is so easy to adjust the size of the flame. But the best part is the oven. It heats up fast. The racks slide and the in and out with ease. The temperature I set is accurate when I check it with an oven thermometer. I have been so sick of cooking because of being stuck inside because of COVID. I was sick of cooking meals. Now, I actually enjoy cooking on my new range!

This does stick out from counter because of the vent for the oven in the back. The bottom warming drawer is not very tall, but the oven inside is much taller and it is a good trade off.

I have 1 problem with it that nobody seems to know how to fix and it bothers me so much I decided to write a review about it. The oven door won't stay open unless you hold it. I have had the hinges looked at and they said they are fine. Now after having the oven for over a year I have learned how to hold the door down while getting food out of the oven so I don't burn myself but it still bothers me. Other than the door though the oven is great and the burners are awesome too.

The “baby” burner is great for small pans. The oven is spacious and there is a bottom drawer for cookware. The cast iron grates are wonderful! Even cooking and they are easy to clean.The simplicity of this appliance is all that I need. I live to cook and spend a lot of time in the kitchen, so simple is PERFECT for me. I highly recommend this cooking appliance. You will absolutely LOVE it!
