[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 20 year-old Smart Combination gave up the ghost on Christmas Day 2018, as we prepared for a family dinner. Once the replacement arrived, was installed and used for the first time, we realized what a difference today's quality manufacturing makes. Our older version was what we expected from Whirlpool- quality and ease of use. This larger microwave and spacious oven, not to mention vastly improved user-friendly interface, make this "kitchen tool" upgrade a joy to use. And Made in the USA to boot! Thanks Whirlpool and Lowe's for doing it right.

This one that I currently have isn’t working properly. The light is constantly on when the door is closed on the microwave and I have to push it in so the microwave would work. Sometimes it wouldn’t heat the food up even though I microwaved it for 4 minutes. I will never replace a whirlpool item with another whirlpool item. I don’t think the brand is reputable. I was a few days outside my one year warranty (on my replacement one) and they wouldn’t replace the magnetron. The oven is always awful. Inconsistent in baking items. Overall unhappy.

I really like the remote capabilities. It is super helpful to a working mother to be able to preheat oven on my way home. What I don't like is how the oven and microwave get turned off. I personally would like to see an actual off button for both of them. They both work great and the oven is a nice size. When the over is turned off there is a fan that runs and on my specific set it is kind of loud and annoying. It may be the way it was installed.

It is at 1.4 Yr old right now and I remember we use it barely at home, however it totally STOPPED working with Magnetron issue now. We made many calls to Customer Service but they were always busy transferring us between their teams and asking us to purchase their Extended Warranty. They seems to be interested in selling their Policy rather than dealing with loyal customer issue. Absolutely disappointed with their Service. We are here with No Help at the moment to get it Fixed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Steve from Microwave is awful! Looks great but don't buy if you use the microwave. The microwave constantly overheats and won't let you turn it on until it cools off. If you try to make a second bag of popcorn it won't let you unless you wait a couple minutes for it to cool down. If you try to run the microwave with the oven on it takes longer to cool down. Talked to Whirlpool customer service and was told it is the way it was designed to ensure the electronics don't overheat. It is embarrassing when having a dinner party and I stand there fanning the microwave with my hands so I can warm something up for 1 minute. Not sure if fanning it cools it any faster but it relieves my frustration that a product costing this much money can be so poorly designed.

The first one was installed and promptly blew out the oven's lights and microwave's control panel. It took another month to get the replacement but it was installed by Whirlpool and I've had no problems so far but again it's only been 3 weeks. We use one or both of the components everyday and like the results. My husband loves the freezer to oven feature without preheating. I love the design and the way it dresses up my nearly 100 year old cottage.

The WiFi feature did nit work for either the oven or the attached microwave. I called customer service and they were able to get the microwave online but not the oven. They gave me no solutions. When we went to bake something we found that the oven racks did not move. They were jammed into place and you could not even wiggle them. When we tried to remove them the enamel on the sides of the oven started to chip so we stopped.
