Description

The exclusive QO Visi-Trip instantly identifies a tripped circuit breaker with a red indicator window. The Visi-Trip reduces the number of call backs, as well as the chance that other circuits will be turned off accidentally. This breaker will work only in Square D branded residential panels. Provides overload and short circuit protection (240Vac). Typical application for a double pole 60A circuit breaker is to feed a subpanel for additional circuits in the home. 10,000 Amperes Interrupting Rating (AIR). HACR type for use with air conditioning, heating and refrigeration equipment having motor group combinations and marked for use with HACR type circuit breakers. Option for padlocking breaker in "ON" or "OFF" position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gordo from Exact replacement for original circuit breaker Took a picture of bad circuit breaker in the panel with my phone so I could get the exact replacement. The bad 60 Amp breaker was tripping at 44 amps. Installed the new one and that solved the issue of the heat pump tripping the breaker. $15 product saved electrician bill, and 3 electrical companies would not commit to a ballpark cost to replace a circuit breaker.

The service representative explained what I needed to do so I took on the replacement myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by startrekoldone from 60 amp breaker [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 60 amp breaker go bad in my main electrical box, so I went to lowes and grabbed a new one and cut off the main breaker and replaced the old one and restarted the unit and everything worked fine, square D breakers are extremely easy to replace and hey will last a long time, great product

Probably longer but I just moved in. Went to store with my pops who said that these square D’s are very good. He works construction, so he knows. Great product so far. Hope it lasts just as long or longer than the last one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BillB from New Circut Breaker [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The old breaker for my range started tripping. It was cheaper to buy a new breaker rather than get a stove repair person in. I went from 50 to 60 amp because the range indicated 11,900 Kw which would put it right at 50 amps. The 6 gauge wire can handle 60 amps. I have not had any problems after 3 weeks.

First one should not have gone bad. You have no choice in replacing as it is only one that will fit in Square D QO panel.
