Description

Tackle winter's worst with the Agri-Fab, Inc. 130 lb. Push Broadcast Spreader. Designed for ice control during the winter and lawn/garden maintenance during spring, summer and fall, the large 130 lb. hopper capacity helps you finish any project quickly. It features large pneumatic tires for easy manoeuvrability and 25,000 sq. ft. coverage, roughly 1/2 acre, with professional alloy bevelled gear for increased durability. The spreader includes a hopper cover, spreader grate and deflector, ideal for sidewalks. Stainless steel axle and spreader impeller for improved durability and easier cleanup. Provided grate improves material flow and spreader performance. Hopper cover and deflector keep material dry and narrows the spread pattern.

I have a long drive way and also a long sidewalk . This spreader has saved me so much time and is much easier on my back. I really appreciate how easy this spreader is to use and it holds plenty of ice melt too. It’s not to big so it’s been easy for me to store it when not using. This product is made very well heavy duty so I have no doubts that it won’t last me years to come. All I have to do push and dispense easy enough . No more carrying heavy bags or containers down the side walk . This ice melt spreader has really made life so much easier .

I was pleased when it showed up because it was packed well and survived shipping without a scratch. To say there's "some assembly required " is a bit of an understatement. The instructions include all steps but you need to study them for a while to understand what you are looking at. I screwed up once and had to disassemble a bit due to my own haste. Once assembled it rolled well and can handle a whole bucket of salt without issue. The spreading is even and the cover kept the weather off the salt. I highly recommend to anyone who needs to put out more than a handful of ice melt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live out in the woods, off a dead end dirt road and tend to get hit pretty hard in the winter with bad weather. We also have a long driveway! This 130 lb. Ice Melt Push Spreader is a definite must have. It helps spread with ease. It rides on our sidewalk perfectly. And when it’s not winter or bad weather, I can use it to spread other items during the spring or summer. I’m thoroughly impressed with the quality and effectiveness of this product. I have already recommended this product to my family members.

The lot is only 20 1 spaces plus drive areas but the previous spreader I had required me to refill it at least three times to finish the entire parking lot plus driveways and sidewalks. This beast finished the entire lot, plus drives and sidewalks and there is still enough ice melt in the hopper to do most of it again before I have to refill! Pop the cover on and put it away in the shed til the next day and it is ready to go. Super easy to push, rolls nice and smooth, handles well, adjustment is simple and obvious. I wish I had gotten this at the beginning of winter instead of the end!

Unfortunately, I was only able to use it once this year, and it worked great. It was super easy to assemble, the wheels are durable and a great size, I was able to maneuver/push through everything. It holds a lot of salt too. I have a 135’ long by 25’ wide driveway. It spreads the salt in a nice wide path. Saved me a lot of time. I usually just filled a bucket with salt and tossed it, so happy I no longer need to do that.

The only problem I have is winter was non existent in PA this year so I didn’t get as much use as possible out of it. That of course doesn’t effect how good of product this spreader is. The wheels are a nice size, durable and push through everything, even though it’s meant to spread salt, I’m going to try it as a seed spreader. I’m thinking it is multi-functional and will work well.

Holds alot of ice melt which allows us to do our property conveniently. Great quality, made strong, and a great product to help us maintain our home and keep us safe. I recommend to anyone who needs a great way to spread the ice melt. So much better then trying to sprinkle it with cups and our hands. Great product to have.

I fertilized my lawn with no problems. Just calibrate the flow control setting and you're ready to go. After I was done I cleaned out any fertilizer left inside. I rinsed and dried the spreader inside and out.
