Rated 4 out of 5 by threeamigos from I bought one about 5 years ago and it has been great to store my garbage in and to keep the critters out! The garden on the top has been great and I change it up for every season. I stained it to match the stain on my deck. I have been looking for another one for several years and all of a sudden I found it at Lowes on sale no less!!. It arrived and as it has been several years I was pleased to find it exactly the same as the first one. Now it stores my recycle bin and it fits perfectly along side the other one. Once I get it stained and my flowers planted I know it will be perfect. Yes it isn't extremely strong but it has lasted several years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MozS from Not the quality I expected This deck box is all made of wood and much of it is very thin wood making us wonder just how long it will last. We found the planter on top would have taken up way too much of the interior space so we didn't install that and instead attached the interior shelf to the top to close over the opening for the planter. It would have been nice if the unit had come with an optional solid top. As it is, with the shelf as the top of the unit we can't put anything heavy on it as the wood for the shelf is so extremely thin we can't risk that it will hold any weight. Overall, this wasn't worth the price we paid for it but we kept it as the size worked for our space.

What a joke. it is basically very rough plywood - lots of splinters and no staining. instructions are pictures only and not easy to figure out. I had to manually enlarge a third of the "lock hardware" holes as they weren't big enough for the round lock "nuts?" to fit in. The wood is ready to crack at any over tightening/pressure. And since the wood is basically raw it certainly does not resemble the picture on the website. If saw in a store made up I definitely would not have purchased. Would return but too much trouble - maybe I can stain it and make it look reasonable.
