The Day-Night cordless adjustable dual shade by Allen + Roth is composed of transparent sheer and solid room darkening layered fabric. Made of polyester, this white shade measures 52 in x 72 in and is covered by a 1-year limited warranty.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Nice blind but very frustrating install I have installed dozens of things like this in my 70+ years and this was one of the most frustrating. The spring-loaded mounting clips seem like a good idea, but are a big hassle in practice. They are so hair-trigger that the slightest disturbance will unclip them. If the clip installation isn't absolutely perfect (I had three to do) in alignment, positioning, and level, trying to fit one will often unclip another. I first mounted the clips against the ceiling but this seemed to not allow enough swing room to clip the track onto the clips. I remounted the clips using blocks. I finally got the track clamped onto all three clips but it took several tries. When I tried to mount the valance, the attempted attachment unclipped the track and I had to start all over again. The slightest pressure will undo the blind from its mounting clips. The pressure needed to mount the valance on its clips will do this. The instructions (which are not very straightforward) suggests sliding the valance onto its own clips once the blind is installed, but for an inside mount this is impossible. Another idea is to put the valance on before mounting the blind. I didn't do this but based on my experience mounting the blind to the clips, having the valance pre-installed would probably have made the whole process impossible. I have given up on installing the valance. I might try again later when my frustration with this blind has eased off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Skier Nigel from Positives… They look good. They have a smooth operation. They filter out the hot sun and give privacy. Negatives… The mounting hardware sucks. On an older building with plaster construction and popcorn ceilings it is very difficult to get 3 brackets to line up and sit at the same height/ plane. After 45 minutes of frustration I removed the middle bracket and everything snapped into place fine.
