Appliances delivery and installation

Our delivery team is dedicated to give you maximum service.

Confirmation of delivery time

You will receive a call from our delivery service partner within 72 hours** after your purchase to set a delivery date for products in stock.

If you bought one or more special-order items, your store will contact you within 72 hours** to confirm your order. When the merchandise arrives, our delivery partner will contact you to set a delivery date.

It is important to give the following information upon confirmation of your delivery:

  • The number of used appliances to take back.3
  • If you will need help, for example change the side the refrigerator door swings on.

You will receive a pre-call/SMS text the day before the determined delivery date from the 3rd party delivery carrier confirming a delivery window.

To modify your delivery date:
Please contact us before 3:00 p.m. on the eve of the scheduled delivery date to pick a different date or time. Join the store where you made your purchase.

Preparing for delivery

It is important that you provide all the accessories needed (new and unpacked) to install your appliances. Indeed, to ensure your complete satisfaction and security, our experts are not allowed to install your appliances using existing hoses or pipes.

Measure the path of travel from entry to the appliance’s final residing location to ensure it will fit.

Clear the passage of any obstacle. Clear access of travel and parking is necessary for all deliveries.

Any existing appliance must be disconnected (unplugged, hoses and vents removed, unstacked, etc.) prior to the delivery window. This includes all appliances that are required to be hauled away.

Day of delivery

Our delivery personnel will arrive on the date set within the time window previously confirmed.

  • Ensure that an adult (18 years or older) is present to accept the delivery.
  • You must perform a walk through with the delivery team from entry to final resting location of the appliance(s).
  • You must inspect the appliance(s) prior to the installation.
  • A call must be made to the store to report any property damage and/or damage to the product5 while the delivery personnel is still on site. Such damages should be noted on the delivery manifest and signed.
  • Any product defect must be reported within 48 hours of the delivery. A technician might be sent on scene to assess the nature of the problem. In that case, the legal warranty or the appliance manufacturer’s warranty will apply, where appropriate.

Drain hose and supply lines will be installed and connected to the faucets. Customer must purchase new supply hoses for carrier to hookup.

Gas appliances must be connected by a licensed professional.

Door handles and refrigerator doors will be removed and reinstalled, if necessary, to allow the appliance to be carried. Door swings are possible for selected units only.

The pick-up of your old appliances is included.3

**This is an estimate and may vary according to the availability of the delivery or due to any other factors beyond the control of the Réno-Dépôt stores. Delivery is only possible within a radius of 100 km around the selected store.

Appliances Returns and Refunds Policy

Our commitment to client satisfaction

Prior to Delivery

You can get a refund of your appliances’ purchase by requesting the cancellation of your order 48 hours before your delivery, by contacting your selling store. Restocking fees equivalent to 25 % of the appliances’ purchase price are applicable on all special-order appliances. Reimbursement will be made according to the original method of payment.

After the Delivery

If, for any reason, after the delivery of your appliances, you are not 100 % satisfied with your purchase, except in the case of damage or defect, customer must initiate a return request within 30 days of the delivery to return the appliance(s) and obtain a refund according to the original method of payment less any delivery fees. If the returned appliance is a special-order item, restocking fees equivalent to 25 % of the appliances’ purchase price are applicable.

OR

Within 30 days of the delivery, customer can exchange their appliance for another appliance of equivalent or greater value, subject to the applicable charges for delivery and pick-up according to the pricing in force at RONA. If the returned appliance is a special-order item, restocking fees equivalent to 25 % of the appliances’ purchase price are applicable.

In all cases, the appliances must be returned in their original condition, without defect of scratches, with the original documentation (guides, instruction booklets, etc.), in acceptable sanitary conditions to RONA and they must be accompanied by the original sales receipt. Exchanges and returns can only be made at the store where the appliances were purchased.

Defects and damages

You must proceed with the inspection of the appliance and its install at the time of delivery. A call must be made to the selling store to report any property damage and/or damage to the appliance while the delivery personnel is still on site. Such damages should be noted on the delivery manifest and signed.

Following delivery, any defect must be reported to RONA within 48 hours of the delivery. A technician might be sent on scene to assess the nature of the problem. In that case, the legal warranty or the appliance manufacturer’s warranty will apply, where appropriate.

Notwithstanding this Return Policy, RONA Inc. reserves the right to limit or refuse a return at its sole discretion. This Return Policy may be modified at any time without notice.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PROMOTIONAL FINANCING

The financing program is open exclusively to retail customers. Eligibility is subject to Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec (the “Federation”) approval. All annual interest rates shown are subject to change. The financing offer is available through a Visa Desjardins or Mastercard Desjardins credit card, as well as through any other credit card offered by the Federation (the “card”).

± The "Deferred payment, no payments or interest" offer allows to make a purchase without having to make any reimbursement nor incurring interest during the period determined at the time of purchase. If the balance due for this purchase is not paid in full at the end of the period, such balance will be payable in 12 equal monthly instalments, if the balance is less than $1,000, in 24 equal and consecutive monthly instalments if the balance is equal or greater than $1,000 but less than $3,000, and 36 equal and consecutive monthly instalments if the balance is equal or greater than $3,000. An annual interest rate of not more than 21.9% will apply to the balance.

§The "Multiple purchases through equal payments" offer or "Multi-purchase Plan" allows the customer to make multiple purchases over a period of two months ("the deferral period") for a specific project, without making any payment nor incurring interest during this period. At the end of the deferral period, the balance of the multiple purchases is payable in 24 or 36 equal and consecutive monthly instalments, accordingly to the plan registered during the deferral period, at an annual interest of 13.5% if the balance is less than $2,500 or, if the balance is equal to or greater than $2,500, at an annual interest rate of 4.0% (for transactions posted to the account with the 24 instalments plan during the deferral period) or at 6% (for transactions posted to the account with the 36 instalments plan during the deferral period). Equal monthly instalments are included in the minimum payment due on the card. If the minimum payment due is not paid in full by the due date, the annual interest rate of not more than 19.9% on the card applies to the unpaid equal monthly instalment, including monthly instalment.

††The "Equal Monthly Payments with interest" offer allows the customer to pay for purchases through equal and consecutive monthly instalments. The annual interest rate of 8.9% set at the time of purchase applies to such purchases. Equal and consecutive monthly payments are included in the minimum payment due on the credit card. If the minimum payment due is not paid in full by the due date, the annual interest rate of not more than 19.9% on the card applies to the unpaid equal monthly instalment.
