Illuminate your home with the Bionic Spotlight Extreme by Bell+Howell. This solar-powered spotlight that looks like a security camera turns on automatically when it detects motion up to 25 ft. away. Easy to assemble and install, this spotlight does not require wiring or batteries. Simply mount with the hardware included where the solar panel can soak up the sun. The solar panel then collects the suns energy and charges it through the day time to provide you with a little more security around the home. This Bionic Spotlight Extreme is 250 lumens bright, powered by 6 high intensity LED lights that can cover large areas. Choose from 2 functions- motion sensor mode or nightlight mode that is on the whole night. A red LED light will flash anytime in use to simulate a security camera. This spotlight is year-round durable and weather resistant. It is covered by a 1-year limited warranty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by dan65441 from Solar powered security light [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a light for the pole outside heading to a distant garage but with no power source it needed to be solar powered. This light fit our needs pretty well. It is very easy to install. There is a power button on the front that must be pressed for the light to turn motion sensing on. I admit I didnt read the instructions initially so that was a later discovery when trying to figure out why the light did not come on at night. I have found that brightness is sacrificed for the convenience of solar powered. It does not get as bright as traditional hard wired security lights but it works for our needs.

It comes on at night and provides a VERY strong light (multiple LED lights) when motion is detected. I liked that it was very easy to install, and didn't require batteries. The red blinking light, used to mimic a camera, looks authentic. We never had the opportunity to install a security system and this light gives me a sense of security in the meantime. We hope we can tweak the light some to expand the current 8 foot range.

When someone walks up the steps, the light goes on. Usually there is motion, so the light will stay on. If there is a cat that runs by, the light will go on for 30 seconds. The cool thing about this light is it looks like a camera. So when folks come to my door, they have no idea, whether they are on camera or not. Hopefully it will keep unwanted folks away. The solar panel keeps the light plenty charged. Since this is not in a high traffic area. The light doesn't go on very often. There is a 'Dim' setting that will keep a little bit of light on all through the night, but I don't use that. It does work well though.

It has a bright led spotlight that kicks on for 30 seconds once motion is detected. With someone coming straight at the spotlight, it kicked on once they were 8 feet from it. It detected motion walking across it's sensor path up to 17 feet away. It also has a switch to dim the light. In this mode the light stays on continuously. The light can swivel 360 degrees and you can also raise or lower the light.

This spotlight is so easy to install by following the enclosed instructions. It is motion activated and will catch anything very easily. I like that it is weather resistant which is great for the extreme Oklahoma weather. The light swivels back and forth and is very easy to position. It is LED. And being solar powered I don't have to worry about whether we have electricity or not. Works in any home or business where you need an amazing security light. It looks like a camera. The mounting plate comes apart from the spotlight. Choose a place where you get maximum light so it will always be ready for use.

It’s solar powered, charges with very little sun and doesn’t have any wires —you can literally put it anywhere! I have a dark area in my backyard and this does a fantastic job lighting the area when there is any sort of movement. I find the overall quality pretty impressive and I’m really satisfied with the ease of use. I plan to purchase another one of these spotlights for the side of the house.

Installed like a breeze super easy instructions included if needed, all screws included. Durable plastic and worked straight out the box. Solar powered so be sure to put in direct sunlight no over shading of any sort or it doesn't work. Light button on front to test and red light in center when "activated". Love the design with movable parts to adjust in direction needed. I want another one just I case!

I was looking for something that was easy to assemble, that worked, and looked good. This spotlight fit the bill. It was easy for me to install. I love that its motion activated so it will go one if there is movement in my yard. I wanted something that was solar powered as I didn't want to have to worry about hardwiring it. It works for what I needed and wanted - great value. I'd recommend!
