Description

Get rid of flying insects with the electric Monster Zapper trap by Bell + Howell. Place the Monster Zapper trap in a dark, dry place. Make sure the product is protected from rain or wet conditions. Turn off all other light sources within 20 m of the product. For indoor use during the day time, close the curtains and turn off other light sources so that insects are attracted to the UV light from the Monster Zapper. The Monster Zapper has a detachable tray for easy clean up and does not emit heat. It has an electric grid with a 2,800-volt maximum power and dual UV fluorescent lights for maximum range. Equipped with an easy-to-use On/Off button, the trap also includes a metal chain for hanging. This product is not harmful to pets.

Rated 3 out of 5 by jojo877 from Light and portable, effectiveness in question [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this bug zapper for 3 kinds of bugs we have tons of - juniper bugs, flies, and moths. I've now tried it indoors and outdoors. The light attracts the bugs, mostly the moths and flies. The flies somehow have the ability to get zapped and survive. Some of them fly back into the grid, get zapped again, and die, but some survive and fly off. It has worked well for moths and the juniper bugs don't seem to be attracted to it. I haven't gotten the chance to try it with mosquitoes yet, as it hasn't been warm enough out. Overall I would say it doesn't seem to have the power to be highly effective.

It is a great size but how well could it really work. To say I was blown out of the water would be an under statement. This bug zapper works to a tee. I was happy that it didn't take up to much room, but it did its job. With spring upon us, Temperatures are on the rise. Bugs are coming out more and more. So I used it over a few days, and its worked wonders. No bugs in sight and no issues at all. I would recommend this for outdoor porches and indoor spaces. Best part its not loud and noisy like other brands. Check it out for yourself. you wont be disappointed.

It is a well made device and not bulky. Easy to use turn on and zap. I had a bag of produced that was pushed back in the cupboard and was infested with those tiny flies. Put the zapper in there and in know time they had disappeared. I was really surprised. Defiently made the situation alot easier. We had a couple moths lurking about and they found their way to destiny. I cant give a outdoor review because its still to cool. I do have expectations it will work extremely well outdoors. I have no issue reccomending it.

The first of many zaps scared me to death it has a strong current running through it! Needless to say that fly is no longer with us. Its well built and feels heavy duty enough that I'm confident it could take a few knocks! The light is bright, it will pull insects from every nook and cranny. Its very impressive, we live in a rural area and our farmhouse is constantly blown with flies. I look forward to having this around this summer to help keep these PESTS under control.

I have only used it a few times so far but from what I noticed, its definitely does it's job! We have a number of small bugs zapped in already, and I cannot wait to use this until next winter! It's not too bright nor too loud, and is small enough that I can use this product around the garage and outside without it being a too bulky. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for something on the smaller side, as it gives great relief!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I have not had the opportunity to use this outdoors yet as it is not mosquito season, I have used it indoors. Unfortunately found myself infested with fruit flies from some old pineapple. Boy did this zap them away! I do wish it was more practical to use outdoore when it comes to warmer weather. It is marked as indoor use alrhough i have been advised ut can be used outdoors so long as weather provides. Meaning that besides unplugging it in inclement weather i would also need to bring it indoors

So this helped out a lot with that problem. Low sound also I have small dogs and a baby so was happy about the screen on the zapper. The Uv lighting is a plus cause it's not lighting up the yard. What's also great about this zapper is the indoor and outdoor use also has a Chain for hanging if needed will Diffenntly recommend to neighbors and family

I have a beautiful backyard and screened in porch, but it is hard to spend time out without a lot of spray and citronella candles. This bug zapper has changed that. Hanging it up in the middle of my patio, I can now enjoy the evenings outside without a ton of spray and without a bite. It really is nice to have something that works as it should and brings me comfort.
