Rated 3 out of 5 by Violante from Too expensive for particle board This is really a cute desk and extremely practical. However, it proved very difficult to assemble. The directions were not at all clear, and we had to reverse the assembly a few times when we figured out we were not doing correctly. Also, putting the drawers together and attaching the drawer glides so that the drawers were level was very tricky, you kind of just had to guess on the alignment. Not sure how this desk will fare in humid environment either. I appreciated the environmentally sensitive packaging, there were no huge amounts of styrofoam to feel guilty about. Would I buy again-probably not-just too difficult to put together and really not a fan of particle board.

When I received the package, the one desktop had gotten nicked up pretty badly in shipping. I called Bestar. They asked me for the part number (which is on a sticker on the piece) and immediately re-shipped just that piece, saving me from having to return the whole thing. Great customer service!

Quand mon marie est arrivé pour monter le meuble, il manquait plein d'autres morceaux. J'ai appelé et ils avaient oublié de me faire parvenir une autre boîte. Je viens de recevoir la boîte manquante. J'espère que cette fois-ci il ne manquera rien.

Rated 1 out of 5 by allie19 from Not packaged well. I relied the 3 desks i ordered in a timely fashion. However when i opened the boxes that corners and edges were severely damaged. I was very unhappy about that. the quality is ok... not very durable or heavy duty. The configuration was very nice and setup was pretty easy but I'm very good at setting up furniture.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Katie B from Sturdy, not easy to assemble Although this desk is pressed wood, it is heavy and sturdy. It took about 3 hours to put together as the directions were not very easy to follow. It came with a few scratches and the screws pulled out of the L part of it when I tried to set it up. I ended up returning it as I did not feel it was worth the $$$.

Another set of legs would make two separate pieces of furniture but would help utilize the desk top better. Was not as difficult to put together as other reviewers said.

My wife and I share this desk and use it for everything from paying bills, school work, crafting and small electronic projects. This desk has no problem storing all of it and making it look good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by cdizzy from Desk serves its purpose I might suggest reinforcement at the point where the two sections where the tops meet. They simply rest on top of each other and the double sided tape does not cut it if you plan on using the desk for writing/computing. Otherwise, it serves its purpose and looks nice.
