Description

The advanced helix design delivers 2x better mixing performance by maximizing beater overlap and blending ingredients in all directions. Rated 1 out of 5 by deb1275 from too frustrating I was so excited to get this, and I love the feel of the mixer and that you just push the button to increase the speed. I am not a fan of digital mixers. However, the frustration of trying to get the beaters inserted every time, has caused me to say I hate this. I got them in just once and they worked great, but every time after they won't go in. I don't know if its me, or what but I bake for fun, and not frustration so will be giving this away and very sorry to say so.. I do love the feel of it in my hand.

It comes with its own 'storage' so you will not lose a single piece. My other brand did not have that and I always could not find the beaters anywhere. So this is handy when you are in a rush to whip up a quick recipe. The beaters are so unique I had never seen any like that and now I am addicted. It really takes the lumps out when I'm mixing ingredients.

Rated 1 out of 5 by gamma from major design flaws Newly purchased mixer is the worst I have ever owned! 1) beaters are SHARP and easily inflict cuts 2) beaters only fit one way and require good eyes and hands to attach 3) beaters cause batter (even things like frosting) to "ride" up against mixer housing 4) mixer will not rest on its base - tips over due to batter stuck inside beaters 5) close to impossible to extract "stuck" batter from beaters - beater design does not facilitate use of a spatula or other utensil for scraping out batter or for cleaning 6) "turbo" button is in poor location - very easy to inadvertently turn on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They easy and convenient storage of all the attachments makes this mixer stand out. You can actually store the mixer on the counter because it takes up hardly and space and looks sleek as well. The nonstick helix mixer attachments are awesome! They won't scratch up your bowls and are so easy to wipe clean. The wisk is a bonus I didn't know I was missing! My 13 year old daughter has enjoyed making all the internet viral whipped drinks. I haven't had a chance to use the included dough hooks yet but we have gotten so much use out of the other two attachments that I consider them an added bonus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product test of the new Black and Decker Helix Performance Hand Mixer and I have to say it blew me away. My old mixer would start at 1 on warp speed and throw stuff everywhere. With this hand mixer when you start at 1 you get a nice, even mix without all the splashing about of what you're trying to mix. The beaters come clean better at the end of the mix as well due to the new spiral design. I loved that it came with a wire whisk, 2 dough hooks, 2 spiral beaters and a storage case for all the accessories that the mixer snaps on to. It's perfect to fit anywhere in the kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ts97moval from Great mixer, easy to store [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for when I bake cookies with the kids, love the different mixing attachments, it comes with two beaters for normal mixing which have twist design which seems to make it a little easy to mix, it has two dough hook attachments to use with thicker dough, and it come with one whisk for whipping, which I used to so mix to make scrambled eggs and French toast so far because my kids seem to be a little weird when there eggs are different colors, lol, I like how everything fits into storage container and the mixer goes right on top to make it easy to store, would definitely recommend

Rated 4 out of 5 by carley1111 from Fast And Smooth [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the power that this mixer has and the different blades that makes my dishes so smooth for my family doesn't like lumps in their mash potatoes and the design of the helix blades cut right though the potatoes making them smooth with no lumps. It is very lightweight making it comfortable to use. I like the size for it doesn't take up much space making it easy for storage plus its very easy to clean. I like how it has 5 speeds for making foods like whipping cream for its so smooth and fluffy. It is very well made making it quite durable so it should last me for many years to come.

I really like how it comes with the different attachments. My most favorite is the case to keep everything stored inside. Definitely a space saver as with my old mixer, I had the beaters stored in my drawer and the mixer in the cabinet so this is a plus for me! I used this mixer for a cake I made and it mixes well with no hesitation and the beaters are so easy to clean as compared to the older mixers. I’m looking forward to using this on my pumpkin rolls and the mix is a lot thicker. I love this mixer and have already suggested it to family and friends!
