Description

The self-levelling cross-line laser from Bosch® projects visible green lines up to 4x brighter than standard red beams. It has a working range of up to 40' and offers reliable accuracy of ±5/16" at 30'. This tool monitors tool temperature and power consumption to deliver the brightest line for the job. It is equipped with a smart pendulum system for self-levelling and indication of out-of-level condition, as well as pendulum lock for safe tool transport. The included flexible mounting device clamps to multiple surfaces and provides a rotating 360° neck for quick setup and simple fine-tuning. The laser is backed by a 2-year limited warranty and comes with the mounting device, one (1) pouch and two (2) AA batteries.

Rated 3 out of 5 by DHFisher from Certainly not for the professional Recently purchased this to replace my other brand of laser that grew legs and walked away. The window on the laser is too small. At 4' from a wall, the horizontal line is about 6' long. My previous level was 16'. When placed on the floor to shoot a vertical line on the ceiling, the line does not project onto the ceiling until about 5' in front of the level. Makes it very difficult to lay out for a wall. Previous level projected even behind the level making one continuous line across the ceiling. Price is OK. Clarity of the line is OK. Easy to operate. I have attached a pic of the Bosch line on the left and it's replacement on the right. Note the start location and difference in brightness.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Av8r from Used this a few times since I bought it. I've hung a few curtain rods, and made some suspended shelves in the garage. I wish I would've bought something like this years ago! Made it all so much easier. The line seems to be pretty accurate when compared with a level. The bright green is extremely visible indoors, and still visible in the garage with the doors open. Have not used it outside. Took a star off for the extremely tight pouch they included. It's like trying to fit in your clothes after Thanksgiving dinner with that thing. Have not used the clamp either. I paired this with a Bosch tripod and they work well together. It is my first laser level so I have nothing to compare to, but I would recommend it.

I was pleased that it has a vertical level line ans well as a horizontal level line. It does come with an adapter mount for a tripod. It is about the size of a large tape measure. As long as you get the device to within 4 degrees of level, it is auto-leveling. If you have the device outside of 4 degrees it will flash indicating that the level is not true.

They did away with the horizontal/vertical/off button now when you unlock the pendulum the laser comes on, if your not level the laser turns off until corrected. It's lightweight enough and comes with a mount that I can set at any height with a Zipwall pole. Super sharp (1/16" @ 15')

Only complain is the laser beam thins out towards the end so the line size is not consistent. A little annoying because you have to make sure you reference everything the same. Otherwise simple and easy to setup.

The bracket for mounting this is hopeless. Tightened it all the way, and the ball joints were still loose. Also the width of the horizontal beam is rather narrow. Considering laser levels are used the majority of the time for horizontal applications, I find this to be a downfall. Also, the "carrying pouch" is a sad excuse. Not even room to include the mount, and offers zero protection. Back to the store it goes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rando from Bright and level line, every time I recently purchased a home, and have been taking in a variety of different projects. This laser level has been especially helpful getting the cabinets and shelving set up in the kitchen and closets. It has mounts for a tripod and comes with a clip-type mount that I have been using to attach it to various doors near my project sites instead orlf purchasing a tripod. So far, that has worked perfectly for me. That allows me to project the line that I need on all walls of the room I'm working in and maintain the same level without a doubt. The wavelength ensures visibility no matter the time of day and the amount of sunlight that may be coming in. While a good old fashioned bubble level still has It's applications for certain tasks, this device certainly makes it easier to accomplish many others. I have some experience with home maintenance, but by no means would I consider myself a professional. That being said, it was very easy to get this device up and running right out of the package. It feels very durable and the battery life is excellent. I've had it running for at least 16 hours now, and it is still on the batteries that came with purchase. The device also came with a decent pouch to keep it in when not in use. Do note that the device will not fit in the pouch with the included clamp attached. Overall, I would definitely buy this again.
