Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth and Powerful Used a 90 tooth fine cut blade to rip down some solid pine 1-3/4” thick doors and it did so effortlessly. Not too heavy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Craftsman circular saw. My old circular saw quit on me halfway through a project. After attempting to fix it, I purchased a new Craftsman 7 1/4" circular saw from my local Lowes. The price seemed to be reasonable especially with a $20 discount. I found the saw to be sturdy and plenty powerful for the work I do around the house. I completed the project with no problems. There are no bells, whistles or other frills on this saw, but is a straight-forward machine that should take care of most buyers' cutting needs. Only time will tell how well the saw holds up, but after several weeks, I'm completely satisfied. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great saw for the Price I got this saw for 1 reson and that was to cut pavers to make a small patio. I know cuting brick and pavers as well as concrete is very hard on a saw. I did not want to destroy a good high doller saw. So I got this and put a masonary blade on it and it cut like a champ. It cut stright and with little to no effort. Would make a great rip or cross cut saw. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent circular saw After looking at Skil and Black and Decker in the same price range I decided on Craftsman. It had a magnesium shoe and the amps that I wanted. The build is sturdy and it cut through framing and plywood with ease. The blade is easy to change with the attached hex key. I got a great price from Lowes with free shipping.
