Description

Add privacy to a room with this allen + roth cellular shade, designed to softly filter natural light. The shade is made of polyester fabric and provides energy efficiency by blocking drafts and air. The window shade can be mounted on the outside or inside of the window frame, and it can be layered under other window coverings for a coordinated look. Ecological Attributes

Cellular blinds are made up of several alveolus contaning air that increase windows insulation. They can reduce heat loss up to 10% more than conventional stores in PVC.

Rated 4 out of 5 by STarry from Very nice shades, but don't work for every window I purchased 6 of these shades for front windows at my house. They seemed very high quality and I really wanted them to work. A problem I had was that the bracket that you screwed into your window frame was too big. I was trying to mount on the upper inside of the window frame, (not the outside), but I only had a one inch section of wood window frame to work with. The bracket for these shades had the screw hole drilled about 6/8 of an inch from the back of the bracket (which is pushed back against my window frame), so trying to screw them in would cause the wood to crack and not secure the bracket. This was just my particular window frame, but there was no other way to use the given bracket, so I had to return them all. Levolor cordless shades sold by Lowes had a smaller metal bracket that I could screw right in the middle of my wood frame and they seem to be of similar quality.

The color is really nice on the wood and in our old house. The backside facing out of the home is still white (although the linen would have looked nice too). These blinds feel classier than the standard white! Super easy to install, took just a few minutes.

I bought 1 set of shades for my dining room double doors leading to our back deck, and liked them so much, we went back to the store and purchased another set for our double doors leading to the back yard. I am now going to purchase these shades for our insurance agency office!

Rated 5 out of 5 by mjm62 from Excellent value These are SO easy to install, they look so good, I love the linen color and fabric, I wish our local Lowes didn't quit carrying this product. I have had to buy most online but then - I have to say the ordering process is a breeze and they arrive within a couple days max. With my most recent order, I will have put these in every window in my house. You can't beat them for quality and price and ease of installation and use. And I had my share of previous experiences with Levelor, Bali, etc. The only problem, and I don't even like to call it a problem, is that for two of my shades (out of 15 or so), the inside mechanism that allows you to move the shade up is not as "catchy" and it takes a little work. "Overuse" is not a cause so if you have this problem develop early, contact Lowes. Best customer service EVER. .

The only issue is that the bottom pieces fall off if you tip during installation...a little annoying but once I realized was not a problem. Love the quality and would defiantly buy or and highly recommend.
