Rated 1 out of 5 by Dale2100 from Poor Battery Life and Design I have been a very long time fan of Craftsman yard products. As others have noted, if you last 10 minutes on a charge with this unit, consider yourself somewhat lucky. It is terrible. I have tons of battery operated Craftsman yard tools with the 20v chargers and batteries. One would think that this unit was designed such that those batteries would work with it. No, it marginally doesn't fit. THIS WAS DELIBERATE on the part of the engineers and marketing at Craftsman to force you to buy more batteries. All I can say is, Craftsman is not the company that they used to be, nor will they be successful if they continue to do poor designs like this. This will very likely go back to the retailer (sadly).

Rated 2 out of 5 by VA HOME from A Good Blower with Toy Battery [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised how well the blower blew even leaves in grass into piles. Better than a comparable Ry*** at competitor. That said, it is a joke to couple this blower with a 2 mAh battery, which I clocked for 6 minutes of run time. Minimally, you should consider a similar brushless model CRAFTSMAN with a 4 mAh battery. Unfortunately, for more than double the price. This blower is clearly intended to force a customer to buy a more expensive battery with greater capacity/runtime!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by A from Battery doesn't last Been wanting a cordless blower, bought this because of the price. Fully charged it overnight & couldn't wait to try it out. The 90mph was a little weaker than expected but it moved the heavy debris that accumulates on my driveway, so it did what I needed. On the plus side, it's pretty quiet. That I really appreciated. So, I was pleased with my purchase . . . until it just died. I had used it for 12 minutes & it just stopped. I didn't even finish blowing my driveway!! I will be returning it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by 69Boss from Great Value - Out Performed Expectations [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Battery Powered Blower was one of Lowe’s Black Friday Deals and it was all I needed to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised by its power and light weight. It is not very noisy and has a good balance. The battery life is short on its high setting but is reasonable on its lower setting with good enough performance, so saving the high blast for special spots seems like the best strategy. I especially like the freedom of no cord and no smoke from an engine for quick smaller jobs like clearing walkways, patios, and porches. You will still need a gas blower for big yard jobs.

For longer running you need a higher amp battery ($99). So you would have $99 for leaf blower, charger & 2.0 battery + $99 for larger battery = $200 + tax. Too much for me. I'm returning it and trying a Craftsman gasoline powered leaf blower for $99. I generally like Craftsman products but not this one. Gary

I have been wanting a leaf blower forever, but I've been worried about the noise it would create and how heavy it would be. I definitely wish I hadn't waited so long because this is amazing! Super light weight and the power is fantastic. It is even pretty quiet and so easy to use. I actually got on the kids trampoline and blew all the leaves off and it was so much fun. I really love it and I highly recommend it. Their is even a hook to hang it, so it is such a space saver and now my go to for everything fall.

Was hesitant, but employee assured me the battery was compatible with Porter Cable batteries since the tools were simply re-skinned to Craftsman. Nope. The list of issues 1-battery life is trash. Compared to comparable Ryobi, it’s not comparable… 2-on/off switch vs. adjustable speed trigger is a lot more annoying than you think. Being able to adjust speed when cleaning leaves is a big deal. 3-this is nowhere as near as powerful as other brands, the rating is misleading

Rated 1 out of 5 by plumb from run time sucked I charged Battery for over 6 hours it was fully charged. Last only 5 Minutes i took it back. It may be good to blow your garage out or driveway off other then that it looks good hanging in the building
