Rated 5 out of 5 by matt from amazing grinder [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] for the price, this is the best angle grinder you could use for home use or industrial uses. sure, there are more expensive brands with higher amps. but this will do the job you need it to do, and less hurt on the wallet. I've been cutting metal with a hacksaw like a chump for years. and finally pulled the trigger on this grinder cause of the craftsman name, and the price. only thing I would change is I wish this grinder had a paddle switch. and not a slide switch. but that's just because I'm used to the dewalt paddle switch grinders my employer uses. overall, a good sturdy grinder, that's worth its money to help out around the house or the jobsite!

I needed one so that I could cut tin roofing material in half the long dimension. Although it is impossible to make a perfect cut (not necessary for what I did), the grinder cut thru the tin like butter. The tin roofing was wavy so it had high and low areas. This made it difficult to cut across the material width ways but it was great long dimension. The only problem with trying to cut across was the grinder uses 4" blades so only an inch or so of the blade sits below the tool. For the price it, IMO, was a great buy.

Weight of tool is good, no pressure needed for this kind of work. Doesn't come with any blades but that's ok since I wanted to choose my own. This is a great price point too!
