Rated 1 out of 5 by jerplady from It never worked, I do NOT recommend I bought this to use around my home. It was on sale. so I purchased it without reading any reviews, my first mistake. I didn't try it right, my second mistake. When I did finally open the box to use it, I put it together per the instructions. I made sure to have the correct size power cord. I took it into my yard to use the vacuum feature. It wouldn't turn on. I had my brother look at it to make sure I assemble it correctly. He said I did. He then tried to turn it on, and again, it wouldn't come on. I tried to return it, but it was past the 90 day return window. So now I'm stuck with a leaf blower/vacuum that is useless. A total waste of money.

Had to finish sewing it around the zipper to close the 12" hole in the bag before I could even use it - fine whatever. Instructions on how to attach the nozzle to suck leaves sucks - you twist the inside black piece that looks identical to the outside black piece. At least make one piece a different color or something to know what to do. Worked really well the first 2-3 piles of leaves and cut the leaves into tiny little piece and the bags weighed about 50lbs each. Now, it doesn't cut up leaves anymore and just sucks them into the bag. The bag fills up in about 3 minutes and a full plastic bag weighs around 12lbs. I don't have any idea what is better than this - but this is not worth buying.

The instructions don’t make it real clear but the blower cover has like a safety built in it. If you close the cover and don’t turn the inside ring clockwise until you hear a click it will not start. So when you close the cover make sure you turn clockwise until you hear a click and it start every time

Rated 3 out of 5 by JLee from Risky and Shocking I am on my second one. I bought one of these and was getting shocked while holding it around the power switch area. Took it back and got another. The same thing is happening. Now I cannot return at this point. Not sure why Craftsman would put something like this on the market. This product needs to be improved/removed from the market. Craftsman should also provide existing owners with a new/improved model or reimburse. Even a small shock can cause a problem depending on who the user is.

While it is great for blowing leaves and other materials out of turf and rocks, the vacuum portion is where all the issues are. The handle shocks you, however if holding the upper and lower knobs it doesn’t, and the hose broke off from the machine itself and the bag. Easy enough to reattach the hose to the machine with a zip tie but not really an option for the hose to the bag. The hose broke on the first use and separated from the bag on the second use. Very disappointed

I noted many of the negative reviews were related to improperly aligning the collection tube to activate the safety switch. It is there to prevent it from running without the guard (blowing), or tube (debris collection) installed. It worked well enough. I should have taken heed of the reviews about getting shocked by this thing. It is not an electrical issue, but rather static build-up from poorly selected plastic materials (probably the tube and impeller). The shocks are severe. You just don't know when it is going to hit, but every so often it hits you like lightning. Returned it and got a different brand and style. Store was cooperative through the ordeal, but this really needs to be recalled before someone with a weak heart gets killed by it.

It is so lightweight and versatile, making yard maintenance much easier. Set up was a breeze and changing the attachments is easy. The bag is large enough to hold a lot of debris and isn’t bulky or cumbersome. The vacuum mode is strong and it sucks up debris so easily. The blower is powerful to blow even wet materials away with ease. This is by far the best yard tool I have in my arsenal now to keep my large yard looking great all year! I definitely recommend it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mike from Poor assembly instructions Bought this after I seen my neighbor just bought one, he recommended it. So far it seems to work fine, only used it once. However the assembly instructions were poor. Looked like it would be easy to set up, I expected maybe 5 minutes, instead wasted about 30 minutes on it, finally went on You tube and was able to figure it out, and I consider myself a handy man. When my neighbor got home, he told me he had the same issues, and also had to go on You tube to figure it out!!!! We got a good laugh over that, but I wasted time on a rare nice sunny day this time of year…
