It is not a large, hold everything, super sturdy box, but will work well for light use. I use mine as a minimal tool box (kept in the kitchen for some screwdrivers, wrenches and a small hammer) for everyday, small around the house needs. Do not expect this as a replacement to hold all of your tools.

Rated 1 out of 5 by TheLidChaser from embarrassing I opened it once and the lid went sliding across the room. Opened it 6 months later, the lid went flying across the room. I won't return it because anything that improves in getting worse by that much of a margin deserves its respect.

This is a light duty, perhaps a child ‘s toy tool box. The stated dimensions are misleading as the tray consumes much of the stated depth.

I managed to reattach the lid but sooner or later it will fall apart again. I already have a craftsman box this size and it is perfect, I do not recommend this box.
