Rated 1 out of 5 by Greenhouse14 from Missed the Mark We purchased the weedwacker & blower bundle. You don't get much battery life out of this basic model. We have a small yard and cannot finish the fence line before the battery fades. We have to wait a day to use the blower to clean the sidewalk. When using the weedwacker, you have to press and hold the lock-off button or it won't run. This is very cumberson. This also happens when you have to use the edger. Also, the weedwacker seems to skip a beat, then starts again and the string strips off and cuts your legs. In regards to the blower, works ok, there's not much power on the high setting. When you use the high setting, obviously the battery drains much quicker. On the plus side, very lightweight.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Southrob302 from Where's the string? I have used the trimmer less than a couple of minutes and the string keeps sucking itself into the spool. On the first test run I hit a patch of English ivy. The vine wrapped itself around the spool and the string disappeared into the spool like a scared turtle. After a a few strong words (actually, the same one over and over again) I handed it to my 16-year-old daughter who figured out how to respool it. Then I hit some long grass. Again, the grass wrapped around the spool, the string disappeared inside. I am going to return the trimmer as it is totally useless to me without consistent access to the string. Can someone tell me why this is a problem? I honestly don't get it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Good until Auto feed stops working I actually really like this the head spins to edge easily. Battery life is good. Overall was great until the second time I had to replace the line on the spool. Now it will no longer auto feed the line I have to manually open it and pull out more each time. Really makes me miss the consistency of bump feed weedeaters which seem to have mostly disappeared as an option. Before anyone asks yes it done in the correct direction and its the correct size. The little arm that moves up and down to allow for more feeding goes to the out position and gets stuck.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Why? from Good tool I really like my trimmer/edger however, the wire guide keeps falling off because it’s not anchored well enough to stay on. It needs to be better anchored so it does not fall off. It fell off this week and I can’t find it. How do I get another one one? I can’t find a decent parts list for it in the instruction book or on line. Therefore, because of poor quality information, I’m only giving it 3 stars.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Russell B from Worked until plastic piece broke I have had this for almost three years - it worked and the string had never ran out. This year, she. I replaced the string for the first time, a tiny plastic piece snapped inside the head and now string goes not stay in. The trimmer is completely worthless due to a 1/16” piece that stops the string from unraveling. I also can’t replace it & have to buy a new. (SMH)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fyrfytr998 from Surprisingly effective for a single string. Here's the other have of my combo pack review. While the blower that came with this absolutely stunk. This little single string trimmer was surprisingly decent. the main trick is to make sure you're using between a 4 and 6ah battery to see the performance. While this isn't the most basic entry level trimmer on V20. It's still decent for a brushed motor unit. My only other suggestion is to buy a 3 piece refill kit for the spools then restring them once they are done with a better trimmer string. I use Ugly Line brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by adzeisler from Automatic Line Feed system stopped working! I bought this last summer. Used it for a month or 2 just fine. Then when it came time to replace the line spool, I used the Crafstman recommened line spool and replaced it. After that, the line feed never worked again. I've tried everything to fix it!! This seems to be a very common issue with this brand! Avoid!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Matt25 from Great until line stops feeding Bought trimmer blower kit mid spring because I was tired of my stihl gas weed eater dying out on me. The trimmer stopped feeding line about half way through the original pre wound spoil of line. I’ve bought new spools and still no line feeds out. I guess this product was a waste of money.
