Springs leaks that spray you all over that will require you to cut the hose off a few feet and replace the end. Twice for me so far. Stiff coiled spring like action to the point of nearly unmanageable using both hands (6'2" male 226 lb.) when simply trying to rewind it back on to it hose reel mounted inside garage immediately after use because if you leave it outside in the sun for more than a few minutes you will just spring more leaks and have to cut it back and add another end piece. Just be sure to buy the size that is 20" more than you need.

I live in Canadas only desert the Okanagan Valley were are often over 35C in the summer. Despite the fact hoses are supposed to be turned off and pressure released after use ours is usually left on. We’ve had a 20 year run of bursting hoses that have been left lying on a vinyl deck with glass railing. Where is gets so hot thermometers redline at the top. I hesitated buying this hose because it was black and I thought the red stripe make it even uglier. But the pressure rating made me give it a try. I’m so happy I did. The hose is amazing. It’s soft and almost rubbery making it a dream to work with and after an entire summer lying on a deck hot enough to fry an egg it’s still like new. I’m amazed

The problem with the hose is how the ends are crimped on - the design works itself loose with temperature and pressure changes. Thus time the Rona staff recommended I go with a Scott's hose; they said all Craftsman hoses are defective and they tell customers not to buy them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Hethatis from Ends fall off I bought 2 of these hoses a month and a half ago. Awesome hoses. Light, flexible, kink resistant, but the ends fall off. I have exchanged both of them twice and one of them a third time because the the ends fall off. I will be returning them for a refund now. Too bad, I really do like the hose.

Rated 4 out of 5 by WalkingOnSunshineAndSnow from Great for home use! My partner purchased this for me to use at home. I’m quite rough with my hoses, and I can’t stand when they kink. I found this worked really well. It’s quite heavy though and I don’t think the name “professional” applies because I don’t think I could run over it with my truck etc. I keep it under the deck which is all rocks, I pull it up stairs and across stone patios and out of my yard…no leaks, no rips, no kink and no knots to speak off. The nozzle works very well, is intuitive and powerful. I took one star off for the colour as black just ends up looking dirty all the time which is a shame, I also think it could contribute to degradation over time if left out in the sun to heat up. It also has a lifetime warranty which is helpful should any of the issues arise that other reviewers have mentioned.
