Almost as bright as a similar corded light I have. But that is the key word, "Cordless". Take it anywhere and turn it on. You're ready to work in seconds. Got this to add to my new and ever growing V20 tool assortment, which by the way, I can easily recommend to anyone looking for new cordless tools. Hammer drill, impact driver, circular saw, if you're in the market, I can't imagine you'd be unhappy with any item in this new Craftsman product line. Reasonable price for quality tools.

Battery life with the 2amp pack was approximately 1 hour on the brightest setting which is plenty for me unless you absolutely have to use it all day. So I would suggest using the larger battery or have extras on hand to interchange. Also used inside with normal extension cord just like any other work ight. I also really like the fact there’s little heat unlike every other worklight I’ve used that will burn you up if you even get remotely close to it. Loving Craftsman new tool lineup, have 5 tools including this light and used them all with no issues. A++

This light takes care of that. Works off a standard Craftsman 20v battery or an extension cord. Battery life is longer than I expected; light pattern is a strong flood that shows all the details without glare. The base allows for full swivel of the light head. This one's a winner.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JohnBurl from Nice light with a significant flaw I like the size and feel of this light. It's bright and although it's plastic, it feels fairly well made. My big issue is that the threading doesn't fit on any common tripod, at least not that I could find...which is a big problem if you want to put it on a stand. I emailed craftsman to see if there's a tripod they'd recommend, and they said there were none. I had to order an adapter from China, hoping it get it to work with another Tripod. Craftsman makes tripods for other lights...you can buy them at Lowes....so I don't understand why they wouldn't put a thread that would work with them.
