Were do I get this unit serviced I live in London Ontario?

Asked by: Ed 2000
Thank-you for your interest in Brush Master Chipper Shredders. The responder above is incorrect. In fact, there are almost 100 authorized Brush Master service centres across Canada. To find one near you, you can enter your postal code into the advanced service centre locator on the manufacturer's website (gxioutdoorpower.com). When I do this for London, Ont, I get two service centres in the London area (one in Aylmer and another in Delhi). In addition, if the closest authorized service centres are inconvenient, the manufacturer's service team can often work with your preferred local service centre. If you have any questions or need assistance, please call the manufacturer's customer service team at 919-550-3221.

Commercial Chipper - 15 HP - Electric Starter is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from "THE BEAST" I BOUGHT THIS ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO TO USE IN CLEARING A 4 ACRE PIECE OF PROPERTY I PURCHASED IN OREGON. AFTER LOTS OF RESEARCH I BOUGHT THIS WITH THE EXTENDED WARRANTY THINKING IF IT DID HALF OF WHAT WAS PROMISED I WOULD BE MONEY AHEAD. I HAVE CHIPPED 4 INCH HARD AND SOFT WOODS WITH ZERO PROBLEMS. IT'S 15 HORSE POWER ENGINE IS A "BEAST". YOU COULD SPEND 3 TIMES THE MONEY FOR A POPULAR NAME BRAND BUT YOU WOULD BE WASTING YOUR MONEY. MY WIFE LOVES TO USE IT AS WELL WHICH IS ALLOWING ME TO WORK TWICE A FAST ON MY CLEARING PROJECT.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Beast of a Chipper At this point I have operated this chipper about 12 hours over 3 days. This unit is nothing short of a beast. If you are looking for a chipper that will chew a limb the size of a 2x4, this is it. It chews through large limbs quickly and spits out chips like a beaver on caffeine. The large hopper for small twigs and leaves makes quick work of brush. The limb chute is about 18" deep and narrow, requiring limbs to be fairly straight. The electric start is a great feature because trying to hand crank the big motor is taxing, but it is doable. The chipper comes with an extra chipper blade which has to be changed about every 6 hours if you are chipping large limbs. The only negative is the low, ground level chip discharge. If you are working on a large project, emptying and reattaching the chip bag that is supplied is too difficult and bothersome. Overall the beast has handled my projects with ease. I would buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Yard Tool Ever I recently purchased a Brush Master 15 HP chipper/shredder. We are new owners of approximately 2.acres of heavily wooded yard, with a significant amount of leaves and fallen branches. Our experience with 2 new chipper/shredders of another popular brand was that both did not work properly out of the box. After reading the instructions, and adding fuel and oil, the Brush Master has performed flawlessly helping us to complete some badly needed and extensive yard clean up. Other machines that we had in the past simply did not have the necessary power. This machine is well built and lives up to its described features. I am particularly impressed with the manufacture’s decision to employ a centrifugal clutch and belt drive.to protect the engine, and both of us appreciate the electric start. After only some minimum instruction and practice, my wife felt comfortable with taking the machine out of the garage using the included tow bar, and running the chipper/shredder herself creating some high quality mulch. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just great! This chipper performs as advertised. So far it has taken everything I have fed it without a hint of the engine bogging down. The only problem I encountered was that the chipper chute would not take curved branches. However, when cut up, short sections disappear without any problem. The engine normally starts on the first pull unless inadvertently flooded after forgetting to turn the ON/OFF switch to ON. Then it takes two pulls. Restart immediately after shut down is no problem. The extra belt and blade are an added bonus. I purchased my chipper with the electric start, just in case, although, so far, I have had no need for it. Just a great unit!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from worked for 3 hours Powerful, but the chute will only except perfectly straight pieces. Ran for 3 hours before the clutch and pulley destroyed itself. Waited for 45 days for a replacement. Havent used it since. Had to rent. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad engine I bought this chipper last year from Lowe's. I used about 10 hours and store in the garage for winter. This year I used about 4 hours. Now I have problem gas leak after I turn the engine off and I can't start. Very expensive for 14 hours used. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Purchased to make compost We have 17 acres and a wealth of material to make compost. Our former chipper/shredder was a manual start and was nearly impossible to start when it became clogged with material. I purchased this model because it had the electric start, sufficient horsepower, was described as "self-feeding", and had the hitch bar. I did not find many reviews in which people were making compost, most people were chipping. The electric start is great. I have had to turn it off and on numerous times, when it became clogged. It is definitely necessary to use a push stick to push material through. I have had considerable difficulty getting the contents of our compost tumblers through the shredder. Any dampness and it builds up inside the hopper. Using the push stick is a bit daunting since if the teeth catch the stick, it will grab the whole stick and shred it. I have run it about 6 hours so far, which really has accomplished a very nice shred of the equivilant of three trash cans full. It's been pretty tedious and I think it just burned the belt, which is why I thought I would take a break and write a review. It is powerful. The electric start is great, I think any chipper/shredder is going to have the same clogging issue. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does a great Job The Bush Master is everything it said it is chips between 3&4 inches easily. I have a two acre heavily treed lot. Converts brush into great landscape material. Easy to move around with the tow bar provided. Electric start is very handy, but unit starts with one pull and runs as long as I can on a tank off fuel. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is the blade is a pain to change even though an extra blade is supplied. Very happy with this purchase.
