This time I painted my crown moulding and let it dry for 2 weeks, then I proceeded with taping the crown moulding with FrogTape delicate and multi surface medium adhesion as I ran out of delicate. I painted the walls and the peeled off the tape and guess what? It pulled the paint off of my crown mouldings in patches both where the delicate and medium adhesion were, now I get to spend another 4 days painting just my crown mouldings. A very unimpressed customer!

Rated 1 out of 5 by BamaBryant from Problems with Frog Tape-Yellow I used yellow Frog Tape three days after painting a medium purple paint on the walls, I painted the trim white.I took extra care in making sure that the tape adhered to the purple because of the sharp contrast between the two colors. Following ALL directions, when I removed the Frog Tape-Yellow, I had white bleeds on the purple.I made pictures of the mess. I have used the product before with good results but this time it failed! I am not happy! Also, I tried to use the "contact us" in the highlighted area of the Writing guidelines and that page was NOT available. Please advise! I got so aggravated with your product that I just quit my project

Rated 1 out of 5 by Nicol from Horrified Recently used Frogtape green on a geo-wall i made for my daughter in her room, was impressed so decided to do a geo-mural in my living room, thankfully nothing ambitiously huge. Removed tape which has also peeled off my base colour and will leave me spending the weekend trying to patch it up otherwise next weekend i shall need to paint the whole wall. I could just cry, a simple decorative piece has ruined my entire wall. I had used the delicate surfaces version too as i had been able to get another pack of the green tape due to the lockdown. Wish I'd just bought a cheap roll of masking tape now, budget, wall and mood for the weekend ruined!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Abcdef from Not as delicate as it says [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this tape to paint my bathroom it pulled off the ceiling paint. I did a split paint and had no issues on the paint bleed line on fresh paint after being done a few days but then when I came to do the skirting board the satin paint just bleed through the tape and it also pulled off some of the fresh (3weeks old) paint off with it. Overall not what it says could of got 5 rolls of masking tape for price of this to do probably a better job. Maybe it was a faulty roll I'll never find out as won't be buying again

Rated 5 out of 5 by carloverthepond from Excellent product negative reviews aren't due to product Great product! Used since this product first game to market never had any issues. Negative reviews are user error. Remember this product is for latex based paints. Paint block technology interacts with water if you use oil based paints or stains you won't get the desired results. If delicate tape removes painted surface underneath ask yourself the following - on freshly painted surfaces did you wait at least 24hrs before application - were walls painted correctly before application; sheet rock dust knocked down and wiped with wet rags, primed preferably PVA primer and then painted with two coats of paint. If this tape removes old finish it isn't the tape it's poor adhesion of old finish.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Erika from Delicate Surface Tape IS NOT for wall paper! I'm refreshing my bedroom, took 3 walls of wallpaper off and left one wallpaper wall as a feature. Bought your Delicate Surface Frogtape (yellow) and applied it gently (not much pressure) to the edge of the wallpaper that will meet my new paint. I removed "the test" area of 30 cm done within one minute and guess what... the wallpaper came attached to the tape!! in quite a few areas!! Now I'll have to try to match from used strips of old paper (already in the garbage) the design! and it will never look perfect, just patched. Your product DOES NOT work for wallpaper, (I have photos if you are interested)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Molly from This tape worked PERFECTLY! After reading some of these reviews I was nervous to use the yellow tape. I painted my ugly linoleum kitchen floor with 2 coats of white porch paint and only let it dry for 24 hrs before taping off for a gray striped pattern. Did 2 coats of the gray porch paint in the stripes and pulled up the tape before the 2nd coat dried. It was beautiful! Straight crisp lines with ZERO paint coming up or leaking under. Loved this product. I will use it again. Its perfect for when you don't have time to wait for paint to cure before taping off for the next color. Thank you!!!

I've used just about every kind and brand of painter's tape around. After my kitchen cabinets were refinished, I needed to repaint the walls. I was horrified at the thought of putting ANY tape on my new cabinets. After reading a boatload of reviews, I finally settled on this product. It does not feel like old school tape. It is truly a step up from the last generation of tape. I have one more section of the kitchen to paint and plan to do a blog post about how I used the product and got such great results. It's a keeper. I will use it again. I promise.
