This DeWalt wet and dry vacuum has a 14-gallon capacity (53 L) and a 6 HP motor. It comes with all the accessories you'll need, including a 2.5 in. x 7 ft. flexible hose, 2 wands, a utility nozzle, a crevice tool, a washable cartridge filter, a floor brush as well as a disposable filter bag. Rated 1 out of 5 by R60Rider from Poor Quality & Unrepairable My trusty Craftsman Shop Vac finally gave up after 45 years of faithful service. I bought this DEWALT DXV14P. It had great suction, was easily maneuverable and easy to use. But it died after 2 weeks use. The cord and plug tested good and so did the switch. It was the motor that burned up. Tried to buy a replacement MS8202 vacuum motor but it is only available by direct purchase from China with minimum order of 50 motors. I could be wrong but there's a possibility that this vac is made by Stanley. I will be sure to avoid both those brands from here on and be careful to buy only brands that have replacement parts available to support their product.

It’s like when it senses it needs more power it spools up the turbo like Fast and Furious! This thing is awesome and very easy to move around. My only gripe is that they should’ve made mounts for the hose wands on the two front wheels because the only option is the bag on the back. This vac is built to last and I love it. My Delta table saw loves it too and gets everything left over from the cuts.

This DeWalt vacuum provides nearly the vacuum of space! The pressure AND wind speed from the blower side makes aggressive equipment cleaning possible. It's built for extreme jobs, with an output port at the bottom. The build quality is exactly what you expect from DeWalt. I had always thought of the brand as too expensive to justify, but it's only a fraction higher than the competition, and it's going to last for years!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Martin from Bad design. Not for those that like to use a bag I prefer to use a bag unless I am picking up wet items, this is not the right shop vacuum for that. Called Dewalt to make sure I was not doing something wrong. Was forwarded to the actual manufacturer, not Dewalt, and the rep gave me ideas like putting tape to secure the bag, adjusting the way I connected the hose, etc. Made a mistake going witha known name and buying the best in stock. Should have purchased a different model for sure. Always buy Dewalt because of quality and the fact one of the plants is in my home county, hoping this is just a bad design and bad choice by a company

Bought this as a replacement and what a let down - nowhere near the power claimed. My old shop vac had more hp power 6 vs 5.5. What I did to make it work was cut off the intake that sticks out and replace with my old shop vac house and inner bag attachment is very sturdy - I also get to use shop vac bags ~ the bag you get with unit is a joke reminds me of the old vacuum bags from the 1970’s - cheep cheep cheep… The only reason for 2 stars is that I use the new hose hooked up as a work bench blower - it’s just the right amount of outward air pressure to blow dust off my work bench - my shark home vacuum has more intake then this unit…. Do not buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by CJ411 from Easy to use and very effective Perfect size for a wet vac in a wet basement, very easy to hold onto the handle and tilt drum into a sump and drain from hose port. Do not need to be a muscle man to use this, easy to maneuver and vacuumed water very efficiently.
