Cut at the angle you need using the tool-free bevel lever to quickly and easily adjust bevel capacity from 0 - 50 degrees. Get enhanced visibility in low-light spaces with the integrated LED and store conveniently using the rafter hook. The 5 3/8-in blade allows for a maximum depth of cut of 1 3/4 in at 90 degrees and of 1 1/4 in at 45 degrees. Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Small, Maneuverable, Very Capable [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of this saw. 90% of my cutting jobs are done with framing sized lumber or below. This has no problem with 2X lumber. And because of the size I can guide it with one hand if needed. The included vac attachment was a big plus and works well. Now, if I can only get DeWalt to make a 5 3/8 blade for this saw with 30-40 teeth, I'd be a really happy camper. The saw itself, though, is a home run. seems to be light on battery usage with an electric brake that stops the blade dead when you let off the trigger.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Smooth as Butter [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Powerful little saw And cuts so smooth eith a Diablo Blade this saw Dosent just fit a 5-3/8 blade it also fits a 5-1/2 blade with well over a 1/8 maybe little more of room between the guard and the sheild it cuts smooth runs smooth works amazing for 2x4s as well as 1by lumber and sheet goods i have been super impressed cuts actually smoother then my 12v Brushless Milwaukee 5-3/8 saw that also had a diablo blade

It'll cut through 2x4s with no problems. Keep in mind the it's a 12 volt saw and you'll need the right tool for the right job. I've been very happy with it so far. Always like having the light and the electric brake. We do custom cabinets and small remodels and we tend to grab this saw more than the larger ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hornetsnest576 from Fantastic Just picked this up but only got to test it out a couple times. Absolutely love it so far. Extremely light and cuts about as fast as a full size saw. Blowing my mind. I thought it wouldn’t be able to get enough power out of a 12v battery but it’s amazing. The rip guide is a cool addition to the package. Overall fantastic, lightweight, compact saw. Definitely looking forward to more high quality 12V tools. Oscillating multitool, barrel grip jigsaw maybe?
