Rated 1 out of 5 by GregM from Won’t buy power stack again I’m a Dewalt guy, love Dewalt tools. I was looking forward to this battery. I pre ordered a 2 pack within a week one battery would not charge. Called and Dewalt did replace the battery, about 3 weeks later another one went wouldn’t charge or hold the charge indicator light said fully charged but it wasn’t. Again I called and again Dewalt did replace the battery. I have had bad luck with these batteries and will never buy them again. I’m content with the batteries they already had out. Only positive take away was the customer service and how quickly they sent me new batteries. So 5 star on the customer service 0 stars on the power stack battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DVBuilder from Compact power!!! Im in the remodeling business and have several dewalt 20v tools including some of the first generation brushless impacts. But the batteries that came with them wore out along time ago so i bought some 4ah and 5ah batteries and they work great until I got ahold of the new power stack batteries. Wow what an upgrade!!! I tested them head to head with my DCF787's 4ah batteries running 5inch GRK 1/4 screws and the power stack won every time. It drove the screws 40% faster. I was impressed by the power for such a small battery. More power less weigh its a no brainer in my book powerstack is the real deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by T Meade from Great size and power [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this battery with a few of my tools , i started out with my holehawg and drilled out 9/16 holes through about 25 joists. The battery had enough power to get the job done and still was showing full charge so i put it on my flex volt hammer drill and drilled 25 to 30 holes in block for concrete anchors and to my surprise it had enough power and still had 2 bars of power. The battery definitely has longer life and i would guess has similar power to the 4 amh batteries at about half the size . Overall a really great improvement on the old batteries cant wait to get some bigger sizes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WCW Tool Man from Pro Power with a Long-Lasting, Dynamite Punch [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The battery has great power sustainability for longer periods than my current DCB201 20V Atomic battery model. I recently built a workbench that required over 350 screws/pocket screws and used the new Powerstack battery. The performance of the battery was excellent with increased speed for drilling holes for the wood./deck screws and pocket screws/holes. The speed of both drilling and installing the screws was faster, more powerful, and performed better with my drill using the new Powerstack battery. I highly recommend the new battery for all compatible DeWalt tools.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrHappy from Great batteries but some may have issues We bought four of the 5.0 after being impressed with the 1.7’s and love the batteries they’re absolutely great, clear difference in power and runtime. I’d say they’re a bit pricey but it didn’t stop us. That being said one battery started malfunctioning in our dcs565. After consulting with the dewalt service centre they assured us the saw was the problem so we purchased a new saw and the next day the same issues were happening. (Tool works for a couple mins after it’s left alone for a min and you come back it will not work, you have to then reset the battery every time you want to make a cut)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Richracer from Best 20V Max Battery I've used on DeWalt Tools [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really happy with my 20 volt powerstack battery/charger.It weighs considerably less than my regular 20 v max batteries.Charges quickly and lasts longer per charge. I have several DeWalt tools drills drivers saws torque wrench. But what really impressed me was the power and the length of charge when used in my Jig Saw and my recently purchased Circular Saw. I was using up 2 batteries with the jig saw on projects and the lasting power is very impressive. My circular requires even more power for 2 X 4 boards and this does the job. Great Quality addition to your 20V Max line up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paul from A 1.7AH battery that performs closer to a 3AH [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a couple weeks of use I’m thoroughly impressed with Dewald’s Power Stack battery especially in high drain equipment. Power Stack batteries seem to have more efficiency and less voltage sag than their normal-cell counterparts which explains why a 30.6WH Power Stack battery seems to outperform a 34WH battery. Dewalt has outdone themselves on the fit and finish of this battery. The rubberized bottom provides slide and drop resistance and the LED battery indicator is brighter than ever. Definitely worth a consideration before you purchase your next battery

Compared to my current similar batteries it honestly didn’t outshine them. It is on par or slightly above. It is smaller and weighs less but I didn’t really feel the difference. I used this battery with my drill, impact driver, router, orbital sander, leaf blower, and circular saw. It worked best on the small tools but using it on the leaf blower, saw, and router used up the juice pretty quick. Overall it’s a great battery but if you are looking to upgrade this isn’t the battery for you.
