Digital Sliding T-Bevel is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from I need to stop buy things that are made by General Was hoping to use this to measure angles for wood working but this things is kind of a joke. I'm not a tool snob and I usually don't mind Jerry rigging stuff in order to make it work but this is going back to Lowes ASAP. First off it isn't very well built. Second, if you have it on a flat surface and zero it, move it a few degrees and then move it back to zero, all while keeping it on the flat reference, it will read anywhere from 1 to 2 and sometimes 2.5 degrees off. Now, for building a house 1 or 2 degrees might not be an issue when putting in studs and such, but for making furniture, 1 degree can make or break a project. This thing is going back... If I can find the receipt...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A decent Product The digital readout is easy to use and the item is fairly accurate. I tested in on my drafting triangles and it was always within about half of a degree.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Has signifigant play between the moving parts Would have gone 3 stars except that lowes lists the accuracy as .05 degrees. On the package it states .3 degrees. In practice, it's over a degree non accurate due to the knife slipping inside the gauge. If you only move it in one direction, for example open it or close it, it's accuracy is darn good. If you wiggle it to find the angle, forget it. I also had the screw pop off while putting it away. I think I may take mine apart and glue the slide into a fixed position. Overall I think it will be usefull for stave drum building and tool set up. I like that I can read the gauge. My eyes aren't good enough to spot a good line up anymore. A bit disappointed, but I would recommend as long as you understand where the flaw is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool for your back pocket , easy to use find that unknown angle of the corner that should be 90 may not be , check it before you cut the expensive molding You can flip the angle to have the missing angle (or opposite ) side of the angle Of coarse to make sure get out you old true square put he unit on your square and "zero" the T bevel now you have a true square device to work with.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for Quick Jobs I purchased this Bevel Gage and it worked for the quick job I was completing. Calculate the angle, set the saw, cut the wood, perfect angle. However, the method to zero the gage seems straightforward but the rounded portion of the metal blade does not fit well within the handle. I had to double check that the blade was straight. Yes, I am a perfectionist. I rated this product as a 5 because the gage performed as expected and the result was exactly what I wanted. If there were an option for a 4.9 rating, I would have opted for that rating instead. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poorly built Not very accurate, has play in it. First one I bought the interior screw came loose first day pining the slide from opening. Returned it and the next one had the screw holding the metal disk even though it was tight in my belt backed itself loose and fell out while I was putting it away somewhere in the yard. They need to have a weld or something at the end of the screw so it doesn't fall apart all of the time! Second time it's happened 30 bucks and two trips to the store across town wasted...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from under $30 it is a no brain-er. I have older bevel gauges that one has to transfer the angle to a protractor. This is a good tool. I even use it for setting my metal lathe tool post angle. I also have one at school where I teach applied mathematics. Mathematics for the Machine Trades. One must understand your geometry- supplementary-complementary angles.
