DreamLine Flex Pivot Shower Door - 36-in x 72-in - Chrome is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Door, good customer service I ordered this door and picked it up at Lowes. The door had been dropped on its end during shipping and the frame was damaged. I contacted Dreamline directly about getting replacement parts, and they were very responsive in sending me a new one. The door was very easy to install looks great, and works very well. My only complaint is that water splashed out from under the door initially. I ordered this door seal from amazon and it fixed the problem completely. https://www.amazon.com/Co-Extruded-Clear-Bottom-Wipe-Glass/dp/B001G1A9NU/ref=sr_1_3?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1509330945&sr=1-3&keywords=bottom+wipe+with+drip+rail We could not be happier with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from leaks tried and tried ,, after the the first door arrived damaged i waited 2 weeks for the replacement . installed no problem had to replace the factory door sweep with one that has a diverter , now found it leaking from under the threshold ,, have a feeling it is leaking through the pivot .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very happy so far This was pretty easy to install. The only thing that took me by surprise was how hard my porcelain tile was, so it made drilling the screw holes very difficult. I burned up two masonry bits and a diamond one (nothing to do with the door). The door looks great and works well, and I have no water splashing out as a couple of other reviews said. It opens and closes nicely, although a little noisy (not like the quiet ping of a thick glass frameless) But the price was very good and worth the small trade off. My wife and I are both very happy with it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Water trap. Damaged my new bath. The door went up easy, looks nice and seemed fine for a week until we noticed water at the baseboards near the shower. I installed it properly and sealed everywhere the instructions said to seal. Honestly, how can you screw it up beyond breaking the glass or similar. Pretty simple install and I've done several similar doors over the years with no problems. Aside from water leaking at the door sweep, which is annoying but livable with a bath mat in place, the whole bottom channel is a severe water trap. I found the water was getting into the bottoms of the wall mounts and leaking back to the raised lip of the shower pan where the wall mounts meet the shower pan, then running over the edge of the pan and into the sheet rock outside the shower. The sheet rock became soaked and finally it dripped onto the floor under the baseboards. I removed the door and found the bottom channel full of water. Dried everything out and sealed the wall mounts where they meet the shower pan. I also ran extra sealant in the wall mount U channels in the event water was getting in at that slip fit (door to wall mount). Once the door was back in, I took the extra precaution of sealing the joints in the door frame where the bottom channel meets the side pieces. I also sealed the bottom slip joint, part that allows the door to fit a range of shower widths. I even used sealant on the screws securing the door frame to the wall mounts. Tested for a few days. No go. Still leaking. Took the door out again. Harder to do with all the extra sealant I used. Bottom channel was again flooded with water. It’s getting in somewhere. Some of the sealant I used for the frame joints did not hold, but in fairness there was no instruction to seal these parts at all. I also suspect the bottom pivot joint is letting water in, made worse by the fact you get standing water on that bottom channel because of its flat shape. My plan this time was to flood the bottom channel with expanding foam in an effort to keep the water out. Nope. Going to buy a new door and deal with it. There is no excuse for water getting in that channel. Even if your particular shower is made in such a way as to prevent the water from leaking back in to the wall as mind did, rest assured, you have water in that bottom channel and will be dealing with mold and mildew at some point. This door is a piece of garbage and has caused damage to my newly remodeled bath. Did I contact the company? No. I did not. A review DreamLine showers on the BBB will explain why I didn’t bother. I’ll just leave this review anywhere I find that sells this door. Maybe they will contact me, but I’m not holding my breath. If you buy one after reading this, you get what you deserve.
