To be honest, I also bought this set in the past and jumped at the chance to get another free as these cutters are my go to item for all my cutting, and some grinding, needs. I've used the fragile disks in the past but they wore down fast or just plain broke if not handled very carefully. These cutters are much stronger and super easy to quickly change with their no tools required arbor. They also last a long time and dont break with heavy handed use. Also like the storage box. It's small, keeps everything in place and, more importantly, protects the disks from damage whether on my work bench or in a travel bag. Highly recommend these cutters and set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by atb1209 from EZ726-01 EZ Lock Sanding/Polishing Kit [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit contains 7 different attachments (423E-EX Lock Cloth Polishing Wheel, 421-Polishing Compound, EZ471SA-EZLock Detail Abrasive Brush, EZ472SA-EZ Lock Abrasive Brush, 512E-EZ Lock Finishing Abrasive Buff, 511E-EZ Lock Finishing Abrasive Buff, and EZ402 EZ Lock Mandrel). I normally do not do much with regard to finishing and polishing, but found the tools easy to use. Used the Polishing Compound with felt polishing tools. I will now do more of the finishing and polishing. I used the Detail Abrasive Brushes for sanding contours in a sample fluted table leg and was pleasently surprised at how easy it was. I used the Abrasive Buff to remove paint from some garden baskets. It also worked nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Steve from Thin but durable cutting disks [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The EZ-Lock Cutting Disk package includes 1-1/2" in diameter Metal, Plastic and Thin Cut disks. The standard EZ-Lock cutting disks are approximately .043 inch thick, The Thin Cut EZ-Lock disks are only .030 inch thick and if properly used are fairly durable. I have used the Metal EZ-lock disks to cut steel cable and various metals including small high speed steel drill bits. The EZ-Lock system makes changing disk quick and simple and the coupling seems to be a little more forgiving allowing slight misalignments while cutting without shattering the disk. However, the EZ-Lock hub limits the minimum usable disk diameter to around .68 inch and seems to be less balanced than the screw on type. To minimize vibration the speed is generally on the low end.

I do anticipate using the blades for cutting plastic more often, since I trim acrylic and plexi-glass sheets to a smaller size for crafting projects, but they all will be used and I like knowing that they are organized with the mandrel right where I need them to be without digging through a mess of accessories!

Pull down on the head of the Mandarin, slip the disc on , turn it and release the head. The disc will not slip while in use. It's a very secured system. I used it to cut metal, wood and plastic without any difficulty. The discs cut well at any speed. I highly recommend this item especially those cereafters working small items that need precise cuts.

It offers a quick change capability you don’t have with the basic mandrel, a design Dremel employs which simply means it works. This allows you to cut, cut off, grind, sand, shape, whatever you might need to do quickly, efficiently &, most important, accurately. Anyone with a rotary tool should have this set.

It's great for cutting old bolts, for getting into corners, works great in tight spots. It's the do all, be all tool and these accessories are great for a variety of different things when it comes to renovating and remodeling as well as general maintenance and installation work. Love the lock in place feature for these accessories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LonO from EZ lock is easy [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the EZ Lock Cutting Kit to cut some metal pipe. It comes with 3 different cutting discs. 2 for metal one is thin for narrow cuts and one for plastic. 10 discs and the EZ mandrel plus a case to store everything. I need to get in a tight spot so these worked great. Very simple to change disc with this mandrel no other tools needed. I definitely recommend.
