This Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool air purifier is an all-in-one machine as it heats you in winter, cools you in summer and purifies all year round. Dyson air purifiers automatically purify the air to remove 99.97% of allergens, pollutants and gases. Captures pollutants with 360° sealed HEPA and activated carbon filters. The fully-sealed filter system combines an activated carbon filter to remove gases and a Glass HEPA filter that captures 99.97% of microscopic allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns. In warmer weather, a powerful stream of purified airflow can cool you down. Diffused mode diverts airflow through the back of the machine to purify, without cooling you. Engineered with recycled materials. Manufacturer warranty 2 years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by R1186 from Noisy and overpriced I bought this 2 years ago. Within a few months it started to make a loud hissing/whistling noise. We made a warranty claim and Dyson eventually replaced it. After a few months, the new machine started to make the same hissing/whistling noise. We made a warranty claim and Dyson gave us the runaround for months and eventually stopped responding to our emails at all. Six months later, we can't get a response from Dyson and the machine is hissing so loud that we can't use it because it wakes us up at night.

I would expect much longer life from a product this much more expensive than other brands. Or at least a better warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jefftl from Great improvement This one is much quieter compared to my previous HP02 and HP04 I love my older purifier, I still use it, now it’s just being used in the basement. I bought the new one because I wanted something more stylish and something that what is a bit quieter. This was it! The Dyson link app is amazing, and a fan itself is beyond cool (no pun intended). I love the screen, it gives you a lot of insight about your air quality, but the app is a lot more helpful. While Dyson is not cheap, in my opinion it’s worth every penny. The ability to have a fan, a heater and a purifier is just amazing. Dyson’s customer service is also amazing. I am a proud Dyson owner.

I’ve experienced them before in the past and expected this one to perform like those, but the fan doesn’t put out much airflow. I sleep hot and I like the noise of tower fans. I had a tower fan before this and it put out a powerful stream of air. I’d have more luck with a kitten blowing air in my face all night than the Dyson. This product has other benefits like the air purifier and heater since the air in my bedroom is staler and less temperature-regulated than the rest of the house, so I won’t be returning it, I just wish it pushed air faster. Don’t rely on this to cool you at night.

I got a replacement because it was still under warranty and they sent me a refurbished one. it's been less than a year and this has happened again where the plastic on the sides of where the heat comes out will melt. Because it's no longer under warranty (from original purchase date), they won't stand behind their products. this is literally through day to day use. we have the temperature set in our basement to 22 and it goes on when it needs to to maintain this temperature (hot or cold) and this is what has happened over time. Great at heating and cooling, but the hardware (casing) and quality doesn't live up to the function.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Chad221 from Improve temperature control The fan is quieter than most at the top setting (still a bit noisy) and the night setting is extremely quiet. However, the temperature setting only controls the heater and does not actually control heating/cooling. So when the cooling fan is on, you have to manually turn it up or down depending on the temperature you want in the room.
