Rated 4 out of 5 by Jack of all Trades from Very happy so far. I had the EGO self propelled about a month now and have cut my yard three times without a recharge. I'm cutting about 5500 sq.ft of flat lawn. The mower is so light and easy to push I don't use the self propel feature half the time. Easy of use, low noise and storage afterwards is soooo much easier than my old gas mower. The ONLY thing that does not give it five stars is that it does not have the blade speed or mulching ability of a gas mower. But the plus side of that is it does not kick up near the dust and debris that a gas mower does. Long term durability remains to be seen, though it runs so much smother than a gas mower my expectations are high.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ben49 from Will Never Go Back To Gas Mower After reading several reviews, I decided to take the plunge and get the 21" self-propelled mower. It wasn't a mistake. It has plenty of power and did my front yard, both sides of my driveway, and behind my fence with some power to spare. The yard came out looking great. I mulch and don't bag and there were no clippings left on top. I like being able to adjust the speed on the fly and recharge time is no problem. The mower folds up quickly, easily, and stores against my garage wall leaving plenty of room to pull the car in. I have been waiting for a powerful electric mower which is also self-propelled and this one fits perfectly. Go, Go, Ego.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tn Bound from As good, and powerful, as any gas mower I've used I love this mower. The ONLY reason I give it 4 stars is removal of the battery. It is a huge issue for me to get the battery out of the charger. The battery is heavy, and my hands are very small, so it is difficult for me to get the battery out of the charger. I cannot grip this battery with both hands. This mower does an excellent job cutting the grass. I have one 1/3 of an acre, and because I use the self propelled feature, the battery does not last for the entire yard. Usually, I cut the front yard first, then recharge and cut the backyard. The battery charge time is a little long, but no problem. The self propelled feature is fabulous!

I thought it was just a dull standard blade. I sharpened it. Nothing. I ordered a new blade. Still is an awful cut if you have thick grass. My lawn is now diseased and brown looking since entire top of cut is frayed. It is that way even if I wait 3 or 4 days between mows instead of a week. It is a shame because I LOVE everything else about this mower - battery lasts almost an entire mow on my 1/8 acre lot, I charge the battery with my solar panels, love the lights, ease of use, and self-propelled system. The cut; however, is terrible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Indiana Bob from Very poor, uneven cut The mower starts and runs as advertised. It never bogs down and in the year I've had it, I haven't had any issues with starting or running. HOWEVER, I've tried everything I know to get it to cut evenly and it just won't. I increased overlap of my rows, I purchased an EGO mulching blade hoping that would stand the grass up better and aid in evenness of cut, but it still leaves a small strip of uncut or very poorly cut grass on every row. I finally had to start mowing every row twice to get an even result. After a few times of that, I got tired of the double work and went back to my 17-year-old gas mower and got the first even cut I had seen on a first pas in a year!

Rated 4 out of 5 by BobJ from Great mower with only one minor issue We have only used it once since purchasing but it was impressive - good clean cut, excellent range of heights and very quiet. Seems well built and the mower made it through a nearly quarter acre on one charge with about 25% remaining. The only disappointment is the self-propulsion - on the slowest feed it's a pretty fast clip and the fastest speed you'd be basically running. The speed adjustment needs to be geared down some more as it's not a leisurely pace walking behind it at the slowest mode. Folds down and store neatly. Overall I like this mower a lot but I wish there was a way to slow it down just a little.

Rated 3 out of 5 by mandoman from Mulching Mower???? This is an interesting product. Plenty of power and very quiet. But it is advertised as a mulching mover when the mulching plug is installed but to this point I have yet to see any evidence that it actually can mulch. What it does do is lay a strip of freshly cut full length cutting on top of the lawn with each pass. This is very disappointing. The machine is also quite hard to steer. The front wheels don't caster and just sort of drag through the lawn during turns and this really raises the effort needed to do a turn without picking up the front wheels. A simple castering front wheel design would be a big improvement.

Rated 3 out of 5 by TADW from Great mower, but with some flaws The EGO LM2102SP mower with the 56V 7.5AH battery is a terrific mower, very light, maneuverable, that comes with a blade that is the sharpest I have ever seen. It's cut is incredibly smooth and it mulch is so fine it looks like powder! It cuts 1.25 of my 1.5 acre lawn on only one charge and it only took 40 minutes to recharge (a nice break, especially in hot weather)!. My only issue is that when the wheels depress the grass, the blade doesn't generate enough lift to pull it back up again before the mower cuts over it - as a result it leaves lines of grass not cut where the front wheels are (see photos). I
