The EGO Pole Saw with Oregon 10-in bar and chain is part of the EGO Power+ Multi-Head system. Rated 3 out of 5 by Dmjr from Good saw with some issues This is a great pole Saw has plenty of power I was able to cut down two small trees with split trunks that I couldn’t reach with a regular chainsaw made the job much easier. What I don’t like about it is the safety button location on the side of the handle under your right thumb The location makes it difficult to engage when you have to tip the saw so the button faces the ground I think this something that needs to be addressed in the future. The saw also leakes bar and chain oil even while not in use just sitting which means it needs to be emptied after every use so it doesn’t make a mess I haven’t contacted customer service yet about this issue

Rated 4 out of 5 by AL HogFan from 10in multihead chainsaw on a pole I have owned 3 corded pole saws and the ego multi head pole saw is as good as any of those. It is heavier than expected and I was disappointed that it could not extend to a longer reach. It falls about in the middle of the length of my other saws depending on their shortest or extended length. For the price I paid I felt it should have included at least one of the available extension poles. I deducted one star for the weight and fact I need to buy an extension piece for the pole to get greater length. Battery life has been great on this 2.5ah battery as well as the 5ah batteries that I have on blower and 16in chainsaw. I did not receive any type incentive for writing this review.

We’ve used their lawn mower for several years and have been very satisfied so decided to replace several old corded and battery powered tools including a black and decker battery powered pole saw. I like the ego pole saw with a couple caveats. It is more powerful than my B&D, but the battery is significantly heavier. It takes more strength to use even though the tool is well balanced. It is not as long as my B&D when both are configured with an extension. The Ego is messier since it comes with a bar chain oil reservoir which my B&D does not require.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DaveH from Great cutting 10" pole saw for small branches Great tool for trimming small branches. I used on steep bank that I couldn't stand on. Worked great to cut small trees that were starting to grow. I would have had to use a repelling harness to get to them. Only complaint would be that the bar chain oil that is left in the tank leeks out like other chain saws do. I wish there was a better way to store this without having to remove what is left. It leaks out all over everything that is under it. It cuts clean and easy to use. I really like the interchangeable head and probably will order the weed trimmer next. Great idea so you don't have to get multiple tools.

I can go get my weed wacker out of my garage and I don't need any help. All i do is put my battery on and off I go. I loved it so much. I went out and bought a blower. The same thing. Put the battery on and off you go. No Gas No Pulling. Then I bought the extension pole with the chain saw on the end. IT'S the best tool ever. Put the battery on and off i went. I LOVE ALL THREE OF MY TOOLS.I told my husband. I should do a commercial for ego. These products are also light weight.

I purchased the EGO Multi-Head Combo Kit 10" Pole Saw and the 31" extension pole to remove the lower branches of several well-established pine trees that line the side of my property. The lower branches of these quite old and extremely tall pine trees aren't exactly very low to the ground at all ( 8' to 16' or more ) They have been encroaching over the 2nd floor deck and the house itself and needed to be removed before they caused damage. The EGO Pole Saw worked remarkably well. It made short work of a job that could have easily taken days to accomplish. Several years ago, I borrowed a wired pole saw from my brother to do some light trimming. It got the job done but the EGO Pole Saw is easily three times the tool, hands down. This tool is well built, a breeze to assemble, light weight, yet powerful and quite easy to operate out in front of you or overhead without too much effort. I read a couple of reviews that claimed it was unduly end heavy, but it is a "Pole Saw" folks... it's bound to be a bit end heavy. But even with the extension pole, giving it a full 10-foot reach, it was quite manageable. I also found it extremely maneuverable when I needed to get at some vines whose roots were deep in a thicket of bushes. I was easily able to reach and cut the thick base of the vines without any trouble at all. I was definitely not looking forward to crawling in there with a shorter tool. I'm very happy with this, my 2nd EGO tool and will likely be adding to my arsenal in the months and years to come.

Rated 4 out of 5 by perriraego from Great EGO product, but..... Just like the other EGO products, this one seems well designed and powerful enough. However , the pole was too short for some jobs so I was forced to buy the 3 foot extension. This was a gift from my wife and was sent through USPS who left it a boldly marked EGO box next to the mailbox in the rain. She also had difficulty finding just the powerhead and saw since I already have a slew of batteries and chargers - now I have more. I decided to register the components with EGO but I found their website to be a bit confusing. Other than that I have cut my first limbs and am very happy with the results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TammyT from Love my saw!!! I love this thing. It is so easy to use. Lightweight and so much power. Used it to cut back a burning bush. Went through the limbs like a knife through butter. There is one drawback. The chain oil will leak. It is leaking where the oil was applied to the blade. It is not a severe leak. But you will see oil on your floor. Just put a bucket under the saw if you are going to hang it. One other thing, you will need to have chain oil before you can use the saw. It doesn't tell you that when you buy it. There isn't any included with the saw.
