The EGO POWER+ 21" Select Cut Self-Propelled Mower delivers performance that exceeds the power of gas and is the first cordless lawn mower to have an interchangeable multi-blade cutting system. Customize your cut(TM) with three interchangeable lower blades to choose from. The Mulching Blade comes installed on the mower and is ideal for weekly mulching, the High Lift Bagging Blade provides extra suction ideal for bagging, and the Extended Runtime Blade provides an optimal balance of cut quality and runtime. The EGO Upper Blade is used in combination with the lower blade chosen to slice the grass into fine fragments. Rated 4 out of 5 by Stick from Really like this mower but can’t give 5 stars. Wish there was better adjustments for cutting depth, lowest setting is too low and next level is a little too high. I have a thick lush weed free lawn (I have no life) and the lowest setting scalped the lawn a little (might not have enough power to get through thick spring grass). Takes me about 45 minutes to mow my lawn and the battery had plenty of life for the first two mowings since I purchased it. I like the fact that it is pretty quite and when you are done you don’t smell of the gas fumes. Very easy to clean under mower deck and don’t have to worry about spilling gas or oil when you flip it sideways.

Rated 4 out of 5 by OSU66 from Mulching not as good as gas driven mowers. Still lacking what I consider a good mulching mower. The new model LM2130SP is much better than the first EGO model but still lacks pulling power of a gas model Toro mower. I had to go over lawn several times to mulch leaves off the lawn. The cutting style of two blades is a big improvement as well as the battery indicator level. Self propel is excellent but you have to get familiar with control when you make turns or wheels get locked up. For cleaning I would like to have a better way to hose off the underneath housing so that you don't damage brushless motor. Other than that I very happy that I upgraded to the LM2130SP mower.

Rated 2 out of 5 by cLawn from Disappointed I have a genetic heart problem so I really don’t like using gas mowers and inhaling combustion. That being said I’m pretty disappointed in this product. It misses a lot and you have to backtrack over the grass. Honestly, I can deal with that. I’m willing to sacrifice performance if I know I’m getting quality exercise rather than breathing in harmful combustion. What really kills me is the battery life. I’m not using the propulsion at all and I’m lucky to get 20 minutes with this on the “4” setting. I have a third of an acre and I need to charge the battery 3 times, sometimes more. This would be more palatable if the extra batteries weren’t so darn expensive. Why not offer batteries at a reasonable price, it would make using ego tools a much better experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Power Plus Iowa from Power+ Plus Have used it 3 times and the Ego has performed great. The first cut I was skeptical that it would last my whole lawn. I had just sold my riding lawnmower which took about 25 mins to mow my yard front and back. So I was expecting an hour + to finish with my Ego. The first cut was also long. At least 6in. Ego finished with 1 bar to spare and a great cut to boot. I have other Ego products and could not be happier with the quality. The new Power+ Select Cut has lived up to its name so far. It has also put me one step closer to kicking the gas can down the road. Thanks Ego!

Rated 1 out of 5 by psmcardle from Not suited for St. Augustine grass type. The mower is extreme light and easy to push without the self propel engaged. It is also extremely quite, but this is where the good ends. The cutting of the grass is absolutely horrible. From one pass to the next the cut is very uneven. I've tried everything I can think of - push only, different blades, half cuts, you name it. It seems that a thinner grass blade might be better suited for this mower. I'm in central Florida and my grass is St. Augustine which is very thick. I would not recommend this mower to anyone who has St. Augustine grass. I am not happy at all with this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by The Unoriginal One from Power+ 21 Self Propelled mower I have used the mower twice now and really like it. It takes me about 40 minutes to mow my lawn and that uses about 2/5 of the battery, so I still have some juice left for trimming and blowing before having to recharge. The blades do a great job mulching - they make a really fine mulch of the grass. I would prefer that both rear wheels were driven, but that's just a minor niggle. The self propelled drive takes a second to kick in when you activate it, which at first I didn't like but then I got used to it and now it does not bother me. It sort of gives you a second to get ready for the mower to start moving and then it smoothly ramps up to speed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed customer 475 from Buyer beware Was a total bust. The lawn mower leaves stripes everywhere from where the tires go (I tried all 3 blades and has the same issue). The battery never made it anywhere near an hour. First two times made it barely over 30 minutes the last time 42. Also once the battery gets low the self propulsion disables so that was fun... Had to recharge battery to do under 1/3 acre lot (that's 1/3 acre counting the house, driveway, multiple landscaped areas so mowable grass was much less than that). I really wanted to like it but short battery life and a subpar cut was too much. Returned it within a week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Happy I made the switch to EGO After talking with friends and reading countless reviews, I pulled the trigger and purchased an EGO. I have 2 lawns I mow, and was able to do them on a single charge, due to being out of season. When we finally get some grass, I will have to charge the battery between yards. The quick charger replenishes an empty battery in about an hour, which is about how long of a break I take to cool off and eat. It's pretty quite. I only went up 2 levels with my music, apposed to 6-7 with my old gas powered mower. So now I can hear what's going on around me. It's very light and soo easy to push, that I used the self-propel for only half the yard. Needless to say, I'm very pleased with my new mower.
