The EGO POWER+ 21-inch Select Cut(TM) push mower delivers the power and performance of gas. Its Select Cut(TM) multi-blade cutting system is equipped with two, interchangeable lower blades; the Mulching Blade and the Extended Run Time Blade. The Mulching Blade comes installed on the mower and is ideal for weekly mulching, giving you the mulching quality you would expected from a high-end gas lawn mower. The Extended Runtime Blade provides an optimal balance of cut quality and runtime for all around performance. Both blades can be used interchangeably based on the desired cut. The EGO Upper Blade is used in combination with the lower blade chosen to slice the grass into fine fragments; this greatly enhances cutting performance with all grass types. Does this Mower come with the bag/container to suck up cut grass? Some of the pictures show it and some do not? I already have batteries from my snow blower so I was hoping to not have to buy one of the units with batteries

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dan A from I Would Buy The EGO Power+ 21" Mower Again. I've had a variety of gas, electric, and battery-powered mowers over the years. The EGO Power+ 21" Select Cut Mower is the best one I've owned by far. It has no issues with tall grass or lawns damp from rain or dew. It mulches well and cuts evenly in a wide swath. It handles well and is quieter than other electric mowers that I have owned. I double cut both the front and the back lawns on a single charge with surplus battery power to spare. Start up and after use maintenance are easy and simple to do. This is the best mower that I have owned in 40 years of grass cutting. I recommend it highly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rags from QUALITY SERVICE I bought this mower because I tore my shoulder rotator cuff yanking on the rope of a gas mower. The mower worked great for the first four years but when I started it for the first time this year it ran for about 5 seconds and stopped. I called EGO and after a long pause they sent me to a dealer about 20 miles away. Turns out he only sold them but did not repair them so I called EGO again. This time there was another long pause while the lady searched for a local repairman. Finally she came back on the line and told me there was no one local that could repair it so she was sending me a new one. That's what I call QUALITY SERVICE.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mgw2168 from Ego select cut push lawnmower This is my first electric lawnmower. I love the ego products. Overall I am happy with the lawnmower as compared to my high end gas. My main complaint is it is very sensitive to get an even cut. You will sometimes get stripes of higher cuts if the lawnmower isn’t placed just right and if you are pushing down on the handle can pulling up as you push. Takes a little bit to figure out how to get the best even cut. What I love is the simplicity, quietness, and cleanliness of being able to use the mower. I run on mulch and mow twice a week. I would recommend this mower and making the switch away from gas.

It is so much lighter that our standard gas mower that we don't even use the self-propel option. So far, it has done a fabulous job with mulching. We no longer feel we have to bag. No tracking in of grass clippings even immediately after mowing. It takes up half the space our old mower took up in the garage. Very simple to operate & easy to store. We have almost a 1/2 acre & were concerned about needing 2 batteries or having to charge before finished. So far, we have made it with 1 charge. Have already recommended it to family & friends. So thrilled that there is a more environmentally friendly mower that works just as good if not better than its gas powered competitors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nonya from Great battery mower coming from gas I only have a 30 year old gas mower to compare it to, but it is great. I only have about 2,000 square feet of grass to mow. PROS: It uses less than half of the 5ah battery capacity per mow. The battery life has been much better than expected. It has plenty of power. It cuts through tall, wet grass with few problems. It does stall sometimes, but at expected challenges. Very easy to adjust height and handle position. CONS: front handle is a bit difficult to access when folded. Doesn't bag as well, not have good suction with multipurpose blade. They included mulching and multipurpose blades, but did not include high lift bagging blade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Szwoopp from Great improvements to an already great mower Just got a new LM2130 and really like the improvements Ego has done since the original LM2100. The twin blade select cut system is the biggest change providing a cleaner cut and I did not notice much of a decibel increase if any over the 2100. Changing the battery door so it stays open is a welcome upgrade with the added benefit of the battery being tilted toward the user to show the status. This is especially nice with the new fuel gauge batteries showing you their power level. Adding an additional height selection and moving the headlight control to the top of the handle were nice improvements as well. Overall very nice and welcome upgrades to an already great performing mower keeps Ego at the front of the pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jake C from Power, Runtime increase, multiple blade choices!! Wow. this mower addresses all of the issues of its predecessors that I could find. The new high lift blade will suck up rocks, so be careful. The double cutting blades really chews the grass into fine bits. The front bumper is gone which is great. I'm just happy that the sun has been out a lot lately and has melted enough snow so i could run this through some of my uncut grass. It still has the ball bearing wheels for easy pushing which has always been very helpful. I love the collapsing feature, it really does save a lot of room. The select cut Tech is great. Increases run time automatically so no need to rush through thinner spots to get to the thicker to save battery power. I really love the headlight switch by the handle. When you mow at night like I do, it really does matter. The "Key" is also much better as it does not come off. The start up sequence is really cool, smooth slow ramp up. It also has warning lights telling you system information. for instance handles not extended: flashes a green light. This is a big one for a lot of people. Overheating: Yellow Light Battery low: Red Light Power On: Solid Green Light The amount of power this has, is not gas like, its riding mower like, it just will not bog down. I did not get the self-propelled version as I enjoy the exercise and they are very light mowers. The only things I wish was different, I wish it was wider. A wide cut mower should definitely be the next build for EGO. They have mastered the smaller size mower with this version. The side discharge is still the silly thing on the back, but it is much larger than the 20" I am replacing this with. I never use the side discharge anyway, so it has never mattered to me.

The fully charged 5.0 AH battery was not able to complete mowing of my lawn of approx. 7100 sq ft. The mower with the installed mulching blade was able to cut/mulch my grass satisfactorily but the "vacuum" created under the mower deck wasn't capable of picking up and mulching some dried leaves remaining from last autumn even if I dwelled over them or backed up to try again. They remained undisturbed where they lay. This was with the deck raised to the second highest and then third highest positions which I would regularly use so that the grass remains long enough to endure the hot & dry weather of mid summer.
