How many batteries does it come with. How do you clean grass clippings off it

Asked by: Neil 45
I received mine this weekend and can confirm it included 6 6Ah batteries. So full set. Description stating 2 batteries is wrong. Cleaning would be same as regular or simpler since there is no belt. Also no air filter to worry about.

EGO POWER+ T6 56 V 42-in Riding Lawn Tractor Kit is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from More powerful than ICE Plows through weds higher than the wheels!! I mow at least an acre. It’s my firebreak. It gets overgrown. This year my ICE mower died and I bought the EGO electric. It took 3 charges of the 6 amp hour batteries but I reduced the height of the overgrown weeds on my hillside to a manageable level. Now it takes only a charge (plus a little) to do the entire acre. No trips for gas etc. Plowing through the tallest weds the EGO tractor was more powerful than the older ICE tractor I had. Be nice if there was an EGO kit with bigger batteries than the 6hour ones that come with the kit (an option for 8 or 12 hr bats). Next an EGO push mower!!! For the edges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm all about this lawn mower! Wow! This thing is amazing and quiet. On my first use on a Saturday afternoon, my wife was taking a nap and I mowed the front and back yard. After she woke up, she was like "honey, can you mow the yard today," already finished it while you were napping! Haha. This mower cut my yard work down in half. I did use a gas push mower before and battery trimmer. My front and back yard are less than an acre and it finished the job with 59% left on the charge. So I would say the 1.5 acre claim is accurate. I did use the low setting and medium speed setting only. It is early in the year, so we don't have the thickest of grass yet, but it will more than complete what I need in a moderate sized front and back yard. Gives me my Saturday afternoon back with half the sweat and time!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great mower bad mulcher So far runs great, cuts well and very easy to operate. Biggest disappointment and the reason for only 4 stars is the mulching. I bought the mulch plug. When using the plug and cutting even a medium amount of length the mower clogs and the blade stop. Where are the mulching blades for this mower??? Whenever they come out I hope they will fix this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable and multiple uses Powerful, comfortable, easy to use. I am mowing pasture areas more than fine lawns. Adjusting the mower height is a breeze. Good run time with 6 6amp batteries

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ego riding mower Love my new mower. It’s quiet but still works like a gas mower. It used 45% of the batteries to mow my lawn which is .40 acre but I go over it twice and I think it uses more on hills but took small hills with no problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Honest Feedback Great riding mower with a few irritations that hopefully can get resolved through software updates. My use is partly for mowing a pasture mix of grass, not near as smooth as a grass lawn. The other main use is pulling a lawn cart for property work, hauling material, trimming, irrigation, spraying etc. The rear hitch was essential. The GOOD: - It rides smooth and handles well. Much better than my previous Ryobi. Cruise control works great and has provided the cleanest cut I have experienced yet, better than the Ego push mowers I have. - Plenty of power, lack of such has never been an issue even with steep hills I navigate. - I find the low power setting of the mower to be as effective as the high power setting in most of my cutting. - The rear attachment system has been great. In addition to the hitch plate (hole), the 2 vertical attacmentt tubes fit a 3/4" SCH40 PVC pipe perfectly. Create what you want to add to the back. I built a 11"x27" box attachment that easily slips on and off and can haul anything I need as a portable tool box. - The added storage compartment on the front lid is very handy for miscellaneous items, gloves etc. The BAD and/or irritating: - The parking break is very hard to set. It requires a very stiff push on the break while strongly lifting the parking lever out in front of you beyond and underneath the steering wheel. - The steering column rattles quite a bit more on rough ground than my Ryobi. For the cost of this mower, I would expect a bit tighter tolerances. It is made in China however so not sure if that is a factor. - The stopping inertia is quite high if you lift off the seat. Enough to where it almost sent me over the front when I lifted up and bent over to grab something on the ground as I was slowing down. Software fix? - Also, slowing (if you remove your foot completely to stop), it slows down gradually, at an acceptable rate. However, it is still under power. Where this is a safety concern, and has happened to me several times, is if you happen to catch a front wheel on a bush or rock or other obstacle, it continues to power through no matter what, even as it's slowing down with you foot off the peddle. This causes and abrupt steering wheel spin into the object while it continues to try to plow through or climb over the obstacle. - I have not been able to find a neutral or "freewheel" mode. When it is shut down in neutral, or turned completely off in neutral, it will not move. Very frustrating when you just want to push it out of the way rather than getting on, starting it up, and driving forward or back. - Speaking of starting the machine, it takes at least 3 seconds of holding down the start button even when you already have the key in. Very inconvenient when you're getting on and off a lot. I find I just leave it on now most of the time when I'm out working. - Battery drain seems quite high yet. operating in the low mower setting mode, or even just driving around the property with little load, the battery percentage seems to drop quite quickly. I find I'm at half charge after just a few hours of no or little load of work. My Ryobi would last weeks if it was mainly used for pulling carts and non-mowing work.
