(My home has a whole house line conditioner and surge interrupt on the breaker box.) I think this was due to poor design. This Electrolux noticeably cleans clothes better then any washer I have owned and optic whites cycle really does get white clothes white without bleach. I had a painting project around the house and I used the heavy wash with the stain soak cycle. 3 of 4 pairs of paints no longer had paint stains. So I only need to buy 1 new pair jeans instead of 4. : ) Very surprised that my clothes generally feel better too. I think it does a better job of using detergents, softeners and stain cleaners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DR75 from I love this washer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An appliance repair technician recommended Electrolux as a brand that, in his experience, involves less maintenance and has more longevity than some of the other manufacturers. I've been very pleased with this washer. The sanitize heat setting ensures that my towels and facecloths never end up with any mildew smell over time. I also love a washing machine that allows you to pause it mid-cycle in case you need to add anything to the load. (I've always found washers that stay locked incredibly annoying.) The quick wash is handy as well. So far, the technician's assessment has borne true.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MatC from Dead On Arrival Completed install, removed protective films, pressed the power button and nothing. Checked power, confirmed power is on. Interior light illuminates when door opens. Confirmed water isolation valves were open. Pressed power again and no function on keypad. Inspect keypad and found signs on improper installation at the factory. There is no exterior damage. Keypad was clearly installed improperly. There is even visible damage on the inside of the cabinet which can be seen because of the 1/2" gap between the keypad and the washer cabinet. Therefore either quality control failed, or the quality control step doesn't exist at the factory.

Its simplicity, elegant features, especially that it comes with the pod dispenser, which other machines don't have, and it helps to dissolve it better than others without that feature. The technology advancement is mind boggling, i didnt find any other products having a 15min wash cycle. I decided to buy this pair after going through excellent reviews by many of you. Not sure if i ended up getting a faulty piece, we were literally shocked to see water seeping out the washer door. Not sure what to do, weekends are big laundry days for us.

I have done a lot of loads in that time and this washer is awesome. It handles the clothes very well without damaging the fabric. I feel confident washing very delicate clothes in this washer. I really like that I can use medium spin and the clothes come out fairly dry with little residual water. This saves on drying time and cost. It's also very easy to use the cycle features - a lot of choices but not confusing - it's very user friendly. I also like that the dispenser compartment has a dedicated place for pods. Very happy with my washer!

I heard from coworkers who had poor experiences with other popular washer brands. My sibling said they were very pleased with their Electrolux products that have been working flawlessly for years. I did additional research and decided that Electrolux was the best option. I'm so glad that I chose this washer. It cleans extremely well and is very quiet. The added features like a light in the tub and the detergent pod tray are great. While I've only had the unit about a month, I'm extremely pleased with the purchase.

I purchased this machine firm Idler's in Santa Maria and their very good installation crew installed it and made sure it was balanced and that I knew how it worked. This is my first front loading washer and I couldn't be more satisfied. I read review after review, both by users as well as professional reviewers. I really did my homework on this purchase and I am extremely happy with the performance of this machine. It's easy to operate and cleans my clothes, etc. beautifully. Front loaders do require the extra step of leaving the door open and I leave the detergent drawer open as well so it can air out. I would buy this machine again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paul C from Great upgrade! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a 7.5 year old Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum with this machine after the bearing went. The Whirlpool was a top loader without an agitator. I looked at Elextrolux based on the recommendation from the repairman that came to check out my old washer. The Electrolux has been a great upgrade! My clothes come out cleaner than they have in a while. As a Pod user, I like that feature in the tray. I researched a number of machines before settling on this one. You can tell a difference in the overall wash with the way the machine pre-mixes the detergent and additives as well as the way it adds it to the drum.
