Rated 1 out of 5 by DJ from Faulty Switching Circuit Very poor quality switching circuit. Don't purchase, you'll only get frustrated! I was looking for a water and break resistant flashlight for camping. Most importantly one with long battery life. This one seemed to qualify. It's certainly NOT 300 lumens, but with a long battery life I'm okay with that. And the flashlights shape and material feels comfortable and secure to hold (unlike many aluminum flashlights). But, after just a few cycles of the switch (and no camping trips), the flashlight didn't always switch between high and low settings, and sometimes didn't come on at all! The Energizer folks need to push their Chinese manufacturer to change the switch design and up the quality.

The light output in this flashlight is NO way 300 lumens. The light output is weak and so is the field of vision. You also have to cycle through High, Low and then off. Will definitely return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by hike4me from Very handy little flashlight with 2 light settings [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This flashlight is pretty bright for a small flashlight. There are 2 settings, high and low, which are very convenient to adjust. I really like the easy grip contoured handle which fit my petite hands very well, although the flashlight was not too small for my husband to use. This would be comfortable to carry while walking the dog, camping, to keep in a car or if needing to see the electric panel at night. There is also a lifetime guarantee on this flashlight. The package says it will survive a 7 meter drop, although I don't plan on testing that out! Overall, I would recommend this flashlight.

They seem to work fine for a minute or so while on if you turn them off they will not come on until 10-15 minutes later, it's like there is a delay so I consider them useless as when you need them they do not turn on. All 4 have the same problem.

Holds 2 AA batteries and puts out-bright- strong light. It has 2 brightness modes both activated by the main switch. The light is ideal for home or car and easily carried in a woman's purse. It comes with a Lifetime Guarantee" with free replacement or repair and free shipping if it needs to be sent back to the manufacture . The light is built very tough and can easily take average punishment . It is covered with a hard rubber like material that makes gripping a strong point. The led bulb is extremely bright in the bright mode, bright enough to hurt ones eyes, this is not a toy for children. I highly recommend this flashlight for it's reliability and light strength.

Rated 3 out of 5 by kenpstok from design is in the right direction but stops there [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It starts to strobe after a few minutes of constant use and a quick shake gets it back to normal. I don't want to have to keep doing that every time. It's ok and that's being really generous with a compliment. I didn't want a metallic housing I chose this so now I have to live with it. Unless it's a one off problem and replacing it is an option to fix

Rated 5 out of 5 by threerace from Great Flashlight [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice feel for a flashlight, can withstand drops over 20 feet, bright 300 lumens on bright and over 6 hours continuous use on low. This is light and has a place for a lanyard which makes it perfect for many places, in the car, use it hunting, working in tight places. I am always finding myself working in weird places needing a good flashlight, even greasy hands. I found myself using it in the rain looking for something and it worked great, I took it apart when I got in the house just to make sure it could fry out but it was still dry inside. Good grip when wet, light enough to carry anywhere, I even rinsed it off when I dropped it in mud, this is one truly goes anywhere and bright enough to get the job done.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ray from Has parasitic drain This flashlight should be good as it is hard to find a non metal LED multimode flashlight. However a fatal flaw is the switch to support multimode is really an electronic circuit that has a parasitic drain. So it will result in dead batteries over the course of a couple months even if you do not use it. You could unscrew the back to really stop the circuit, but that is so clumsy. Only buy if you frequent use this light and swap out rechargeables every couple days.
