Technical specifications

Does this one work with 220 volt electric sockets? (like in Europe) Or it does with 110v only?

"Energizer Pro" Battery Charger is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 52.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hidden Charging Problem Purchased this charger/battery pack and a separate four-battery pack. Noticed that the charger was displaying the “bad battery” light icon when charging the batteries in either one or two pairs. Contacted Energizer about the problem. They replied that the batteries must be from the SAME package and have the SAME battery code on all the batteries being charged. So even if you purchase another Energizer set of batteries, you need to account for each battery’s use in pairs and be certain the date codes are all the same. Who is the brilliant mind behind this logic?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perhaps bunny ears will work The Energizer Recharge Pro Charger was purchased to charge AA batteries for a battery hungry camera. The last two chargers I purchased were out lived by the batteries, both chargers died within a year of purchase, so you have to forgive me if I am not glowing with enthusiasm at the prospect of the longevity of this charger. I do have to say that it is difficult, nay nearly impossible to remove the batteries once they are charged. There are no detents to allow a finger to get behind the batteries to remove them from the charger. With no built in ejection mechanism, the removal tool becomes a screwdriver, or a table knife. Is this by design, or an oversight by Energizer? Perhaps bunny ears will work. Next years model needs to be finger friendly, please. Safety first, be careful when you pry. Time will tell.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Price is high and quality is low The price is steep, but I went ahead and bought them thinking I was getting a high quality product. However, one of the batteries failed on the initial charge - leaving me with 3 batteries to work with vices the 4 that I paid for. Also, the package states that the batteries are only good for 5 years while most rechargeable batteries on the market are good for up to 1000 charges and are less expensive. Furthermore, the charge doesn't last long and the batteries lose charge even when they are not in use. So, I have to keep the batteries on the charger constantly so that they are ready for use when I need them. My advice to the consumer is to not buy this product. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! Energizer rechargeable is a great buy. You not only save money but you help save the environment. The batteries charge fast and they last like a store bought disposable battery would last. I think this is a great product and it will save me money in the long run.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not use this charger if you love your batteries Unfortunately this is NOT a good charger: - it charges batteries in pairs. So if you have one completely depleted and the other one half full, what do you what will that do for your batteries: one will be overcharged and another will be just charged... - it charges in '3 hours'. Another bad. You do NOT want to charge with 700-800mA your batteries as you will shorten their life. Get decent charger which charges each battery separately. Charger where you can control charging current depending on your battery capacity...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Batteries fall out I bought this at Lowes. The AA batteries installed in the top chambers fall out. The AAA batteries cause the beeper to beep constant. Now I have to make another trip to Lowes to return this. I was very disappointed. It is a nice looking design. For the price this should have been solid.
