Looks classy and stands out next to my neighbours doors. Highly recommended this product. Not made of plastic at all so I find the below comment odd...buying one for my mom to install for her this weekend.

Après 4 ans, la clenche ne rétracte plus le pêne suffisamment pour le désengager de la gâche. Attention, utilisez que des piles Alcalines, sinon la serrure ne pourra pas détecter que les piles sont presqu'épuisées et émettre le signal sonore. TOUJOURS avoir une clé avec soi lorsqu'on barre la porte.

Installation was easy and fit was identical to old weiser keypad lock. However - this lock is EXTREMELY LOUD! Yes - I’m yelling because this thing was so loud that everytime you opened the lock, it scared us and the dogs. We could hear the old lock sometimes, usually just when it opened, but this one was like a mechanical nightmare - it would continue to try and unlock itself even after it was fully unlocked. I phone Weiser customer support and was told this sound was “normal”… I compared the old one, as well as cheaper brand we have at the back door and the CA continued to tell me there was difference and this lock was functioning properly - I asked if there was quieter locks available and she said no…. She even suggested we use a different company - so - no more Weiser for us! The quality seems to have disappeared.
