Is there a mounting Bracket? What about an install kit for PEX?

I take water from the river so I have 3 of these filters in-line and it does a great job. No there is not a mounting bracket nor an install kit for PEX included in kit/box. Please note these take 3/4 inch inlet outlet fittings. I used white plumbers tape when installing to ensure a leak free install.

I have the FC150 unit. The head has BYPASS - OFF - ON labelled on the side however the top Control only operates with one turn turning the water OFF for filter replacement or back to the On position. how do you operate the BYPASS mode ???

Hi, Thank you for choosing Rainfresh. The BYPASS position can be easily activated by turning the top handle. To activate BYPASS mode, turn the handle clockwise past the OFF position by hand until the arrow on the handle is in line with the BYPASS position. Rated 5 out of 5 by Matt2550 from Licensed Plumber: this is a good filter housing I have installed these for years and have yet to have a problem with one and was surprised to see the negative reviews. yes it is a plastic head...just like everything else on the market if it leaks its probably because of not enough teflon tape, you cross threaded it or you soldered too close to the unit. the other complaint is that it leaks when you put it to by pass, this is supposed to happen that is what takes the pressure off so that you can take the filter out but I guess so many people complained about this that in every box now there is a little tag explaining this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Charles1 from Average Joe install Don't know what all these other reviews are talking about.. bought in Nov 2017 and works great first time around, no leaking, and now Feb 2018 and I'll be looking to add a second one for extra filtration on my house since we have a lot of sediment from our well water. Will be putting a 5 micron filter before the water softener and a 1 micron after softener.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Solved sand issue at cottage! Had y/y issues with toilet valve plugging. Finally (I’m stubborn I guess), installed this filter after my pump/pressure tank (DIY style - many shark bites). Voila! No more sand in system and cottage ceramic filters no longer plugging. Not a pretty install, but functional. Don’t scrimp on the Teflon people and then complain about leaks!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by DIYBOB from Constant Leaking It leaked from the moment the water was turned on. The filter body doesn't pull tight to the head and water leaks past the O-Ring. Water leaked from underneath the On-Off-Bypass selector. I couldn't stop the leaking, so gave up, removed it and purchased a product from another manufacturer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by enfield from New unit leaked, replacement leaked, not impressed I purchased one of these filter systems and when I first installed it there was a steady leak around the ON/OFF/BYPASS valve on top. I contacted Rainfresh customer support and they supplied me with a new head assembly. I installed the new head assembly today and it leaks the same. Too bad they can't make this thing work properly as it would be a pretty slick system. Taking it back to the store for a refund.
