Compact yet powerful, this Firman portable inverter generator features a Whisper Series muffler which runs at an extremely quiet 56 dB. The engine's fuel economy mode reduces fuel consumption while its Phoenix Fat Head Block ensures the engine runs coolly and efficiently. I purchased the Firman for my husband in Cuba. It was running fine, the generator quit. The gas tank and oil are full. He mentioned the oil is leaking. Any recommendations?

Hi, will this safely run a new/modern home furnace cleanly? Without damaging the electronics? I just installed a new Trane furnace with a D/C motor and would hate to void the warranty by frying the electronics.....

I think it is ok, but I would check with my furnace guy. It worked great on my modern fridge and freezer.

yes it has 2100 starting wats and 1700 continues it revs up a bit but will run my skill saw or impact

It’s not a Honda...but very reasonable for the price. Great to keep your batteries charged but will not run the microwave in our RV when plugged into the main power cord, on its own possibly but draw on other circuits is to much to just plug and play. Will be upgrading to a larger one for that reason.

How to you handle 3 yr warranty I live in Nova Scotia Canada

They work with a local service company. In my case it was a company in Burnside Industrial park, had the machine repaired and fixed in a few days. FYI it was the pull cord that failed but the service was excellent.

Built quality is OK but the sound output is slightly louder than Honda eu2000 units, the only other inverter generator that I have experience using. Definitely a value buy at half the cost of Hondas and Yamahas. The included cover is a nice feature for storage in my dirty garage.

I like that it's light weight, quiet and has a 12 hr run time. I make my coffee and keep the camper battery charged with it. Also keeping me in touch with my family charging my phone. Doing all three of those things 1 tank of gas lasts me 4-5 days.

It sure worked and charged my camper battery and all our electronics but it also gave me some ringing in my ear for the entire night. It is loud enough that you cannot carry a conversation while it's running. I paid full price of $799 but I think it's only worth half of it. I will definitely return it and do not recommend.
