yes it has two filters that you can remove to clean it

That measure is the box. The handle adds another 2 inches to the depth but it isn't obtrusive above the wider stove. We're very happy with this microwave.

Does this model have to be vented out side or can it be recirculated.

I can be installed with recirculation. Not sure if it has carbon filters for this though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hank from NO QUICK ON! The +10 and +30 buttons don't We bought this same microwave but the gallery series 4 years ago. It stopped working and was cheaper to replace than fix. This might be a first world problem but the only button I used on the previous microwave was the +30 button. Push once and microwave turns on for 30 seconds. Push twice, you've got a minute. Quick and easy. This one you have to push time, then 3, then 0, then start. 4 buttons instead of one. REALLY annoying. It would be a great microwave if the +10 and +30 buttons worked like they should... with one push. Fit and finish is good. Hopefully this one lasts more than 4 years

Since our existing microwave oven was white and matched our trouble free Frigidaire oven , range and dishwasher I was anxious to replace it with a unit that was white. My online research quickly revealed that Frigidaire offered a microwave that had the same features,capacity and dimensions as the oven I was replacing and that I would be able to install the new one with a minimum amount of effort. I received the oven in 7 days and with the assistance of my wife I was able to install it in a couple of hours.

It is much quieter than our previous one and I love the Black Stainless steel color. It does everything that I want it to do and I am pleased. The only slightly negative thing I can say about it is that on the bottom of the control panel it is difficult to see the icons there. The Fan, Light, Settings and Clock. On the upper part of the panel the numbers are white and the icons at the bottom are a light gray and not as easy to see. (At least for an older adult.) .But thank you Frigidaire for such a nice product!

Last one: I had to take the floor model - and I'm glad I did. I was able to do the removal and install this appliance myself. It was a pretty big deal but I got it done in a day. We are extremely pleased with the features and performance of this microwave. The lights in the heating compartment and lighting up the stove below are much brighter than our old GE. It also has more power and is larger inside even though it fits in the same space. We've had it for a month now and couldn't be more pleased.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Chris11111 from It's working for now..... We had to replace our 3 year old microwave (same exact one as this one) with a new one after multiple things failed on it. It was cheaper to replace it than fix it so we replaced it. We had only had this new one for a month when suddenly it quit working. The clock, timer, light and fan all still worked but the microwave function itself quit. Called the company we got it from and after waiting for a part to come in for 2 weeks..... they came out and replaced the computer panel (free of charge since it should have been working to begin with). It is working for now though and seems to be doing ok. We try not to use it as much anymore.

I ended up using the larger rotating plate from my old 1.6 cu.ft Frigidaire, the one included with this model it very undersized. Further, this unit only has 1 stovetop light instead of 2 and the color temperature isn't adjustable... The stove light color now contrasts with my under cabinet lights which is annoying. Apparently this isn't something that can be changed like a lightbulb, looks like some specialized LED board one off part for Frigidaire... That is also annoying, hopefully parts are available when it needs to be changed.

This microwave replaced a Whirlpool over the stove model that was probably 15-20 years old. The finishes do match but the new microwave was a very tight fit into the old space. The side panels are slightly buckled. The sheet metal is thin. I thought that the new microwave was the same power as the old but it does not heat nearly as quickly and I have to add time to the heating instructions of most food products. The thing works, but is less effective and sightly as the oven it replaced.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Not happy with microwave from Less than a month and broke twice [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came with our new home we purchased and within the 3 weeks of living in our home the microwave stopped working. First time the technician came out said the fuzes weren’t working but he was able to fix it when he opened up the panel but I guess not because the unit went out again yesterday. Very frustrating when you have a newborn baby at home. Hopefully a technician can come out soon to fix/replace it since it’s still under warranty. I wouldn’t recommend this unit.
