Frigidaire Gallery's Fits-More 5-element cooktop provides enough space and performance to prepare multiple meals simultaneously for your family and friends. Its 3200 W centre element boils water in only 3 minutes, while its SpaceWise element adjusts its diameter to fit the pan or pot size, going from 5 inches to 7 inches. This appliance features Express-Select front control knobs that are easy to access and intuitive to use, while indicator lights inform you if an element is still hot, even when turned off. In addition, the cooktop is approved for installation over an electric wall oven from the same brand. Has anyone been able to find the 8 gauge aluminum-copper connectors/marrettes needed to connect this aluminum wired cooktop (the manual incorrectly says it's copper) to household copper wiring? They are extremely difficult, if not impossible, to find.

Turns out the cooktop wiring looks like aluminium but is AWM wire (tinned copper).

If you have to go electric like we do, this is the perfect addition to your kitchen. This cooktop works better than our previous cooktops. 5 burners allows me to cook anything I want without having to stop in the middle because there just isn’t enough room. The Quick Boil feature is incredible!! No more long waiting for water to boil. This element gets hot in a hurry and a big pot of water took like 2 minutes and it was boiling rapidly. Love love love my cooktop!!

The new placement of the controls along the front (previously along side) adds visual balance and convenience. I cook every day, and clean-up of the glass surface is quick and easy, so my cooktop always looks sleek, shiny and elegant, and I know I can rely on it to perform and stay beautiful for many years to come.

There is always a grim or spill that requires extra effort to clean, but it cooks well and stays even. So it is a mixed review. I would recommend for couples that don't have kids. It does allow for larger meals and an extra eye for large pots. Hope this is a good idea of how the cook top works for us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SilverFire from 30" Frigidaire 5 Burner Cooktop [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 30" Frigidaire 5 Burner Cooktop replaced our second Amana halogen cooktop failure. The selection of cooktops was limited due to model availability to fit in our stone counter rough opening. Frigidaire was one of the only options that worked. It also provided the additional quick boil burner ideal for large diameter pots for pasta and shellfish boiling and steaming which is our favorite feature with this unit. Hopefully, it will prove to be durable as well.

We needed a shallow model to accommodate the cabinet draw underneath. I not only kept my drawer but I gained a 5th burner! It was a win win! It has an extended warrantee. We are very pleased so far. I love it and would recommend it.

The installation was easy as I was replacing a previous older stove top. The burners start quickly and go to full heat almost immediately. The top looks nice and is easy to clean.

This fit the existing opening in my granite perfectly, so no cutting was necessary. This stovetop is wonderful to cook on. I didn’t realize how poorly my old one was until we started to use the Frigidaire stove top. Will be purchasing dishwasher and microwave in the fall and will purchase Frigidaire products. Highly recommend!
