The Frigidaire Gallery induction 36-inch cooktop helps make cleaning easier than ever. Since induction only heats the pan and the food in it, the area around the pan stays cool to the touch, making it easy to clean up spills and splatters. The cooktop also features our new temp lock(TM) technology, which maintains an even temperature the entire time you cook. Plus, our convenient bridge element allows you to connect two elements to create a larger cooking surface, perfect for a griddle or large pan.

Rated 1 out of 5 by YaniHDomRep from Disappointing Frigidaire 36" Induction Cooktop [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this is a beautiful looking induction cooktop I can't say good things about it. My cooktop is ONLY 5-weeks old and I already have error codes appearing. An E4 error code shows as soon as I turn on my appliance. Also, there is an H that shows on the 5th burner. See pics below for reference. I expected more from this brand and considering how much money we spent and this appliance being brand NEW how can we already be experiencing issues with it?!? I am very disappointed!! We now have to wait a few weeks for the technician to receive parts and TRY to fix this appliance. Shame on you Frigidaire!

We received it approximately a week later. Unfortunately, when it arrived, when testing it, half of the cook top does not turn on, and the timer does not work or turn on. I immediately contacted the store and was told I would have to wait for service and that this is the cook top we have to keep. I am currently waiting about 4 weeks to get someone to fix this "brand new" cooktop. I was disappointed that it did not work right out of the box. I am waiting to see if they can repair it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JeffAR from Frigidaire Induction an upgrade from gas [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The induction cooktop is an upgrade from the gas hob it replaced. It is equal to gas for instant heat, boiling power and control, and the flat top is much easier to clean. The controls are a little tricky, particularly for those with cold hands, but with a few work arounds (like a place to warm a fingertip), it’s easily manageable. Installation was also straightforward, so long as one has a 40 amp slot available in the breaker box, and the know how (or an electrician) to hook things up. Induction cookware is easily available and works great, along with our old cast iron.

The burner sizes demarcated on the stove itself are largely overstated. The actual heat source is much smaller on each burner than is specified and the combo griddle burner does not have any heat source connecting the two burners so it becomes two hot spots with no power in between. The controls are sensitive so that if any water gets on them while you are cooking the stove power to all burners shuts off (this can happen simply from condensation from a pot lid dripping on the control area. If I had paid closer attention and noticed these things at the time of purchase I would have returned it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded from an old Tappan ConvertaCook to this induction cooktop and the difference is amazing! I love having 5 burners and the near instant temperature changes while cooking. The power boil option makes life much easier as well. It has been a slight learning curve to switch to induction, but nothing too difficult. My favorite thing about this one is that it doesn’t heat the kitchen up like the old one did and the surface cools off quickly so I don’t have to worry as much about little hands in the kitchen.

We love the Power, Bridge and Warming features and it’s great to have a timer built into the cooktop! The controls are well thought out with safety and function in mind. The stove provides even cooking and exacting temperature control, the most exciting experiences for this long time gas stove user! Clean up is a dream and the look is sleek and neat. We are so happy we made the change to induction!

Last night he was saying that the speed that it heats up and heats water streamlined his cooking by about 15 minutes and a meal that would have taken 45 minutes took less than 30. That makes him more efficient and cooking is less tiring. Cleaning it is a breeze; no more bits of food stuck under a burner to smoke. It's safe. We are both in our 60s and used to check on each other to make sure the burners were turned off. This is not an issue. We couldn't be happier with our purchase.

We purchased a different make and model which we returned because of poor quality. This cooktop works perfectly, is quiet, works seamlessly and cleans up nicely. We are very happy with this purchase.
