Connect this Generac Guardian Standby Generator to your existing LP or natural gas fuel supply. It'll start automatically within 30 seconds of sensing power loss and run for as long as necessary, until utility power returns. It can be programmed to provide just enough power for essential circuits or whole house coverage. The exclusive Mobile Link technology lets you monitor its status from anywhere with your smartphone, tablet or computer. The generator is air-cooled and features an aluminum enclosure. I was one of only four homeowners with a generator in a community of 700 homes. After a total power loss for 5 days in 2016, the lake community now has over 50 homes with standby power. The weekly test startup and light display gives me confidence that my unit will be ready to go when the next storm passes through our area.

I had this generator hooked up to my house, garage and pool. We've had this for 5 years now and never had a problem. I wouldn't be without one again.

This generator is awesome we have lost the power at the cottage almost every week, most times for a few minutes and or a few hours at a time. We are so confident with the generator , that when the power is lost my wife and I look at each other and smile , 3 seconds later the generator starts and we have power. We lost the power about a month ago for 2 days ,and our gen did not skip a beat. It ran our entire house (propane heat)and our garage (electric heat) ,also my wife's 12 x 30 She shed,also electric heat. Very pleased and have no worries of being in the cold or in the dark. The WiFi works great and monitor's the hours and also a diagnostic check weekly. I have a duel fuel furnace, primary runs on electric heat,however when I have a power outage the transfer panel or the furnace (not sure) shuts the electric heat off and switches to propane heat... I highly recommend this 22kw generator to anyone that lives out in cotage country.

Since a model was not available to be seen I expected to get it with the same features. It is missing one I counted on which are aux AC outlets that were on a side panel. I bought a transient suppressor which I intended to plug in to said outlet. Nope!

We haven't even had to use it yet due to a power outage, but I shudder to think what's going to happen during hurricane season.
