The electrical plug option made it versatile to install in an area with no electrical wiring. I covered the electrical cord with jute rope to add to the overall look. Overall I am very satisfied and I would definitely recommend this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Barb from Not what I ordered When I ordered this fixture, it was advertised as Dark Bronze. When I finally got it, after 3 weeks, I opened the box and it was black. I kept it cause I didn't want to wait another 3 weeks. and painted it bronze myself. Also didn't like the clear glass globe, which made it too glarry, so I used Glass Etch which helped with that. So if you order this fixture, make sure you get the right one.

I am not sure I like them enough. i bought some others that I like better but the surface on them is very rough and will be a dust collector and hard to clean so I might have to start over. These are nice and all but just not the look I want.

The light is also too heavy for the base so it leans forward away from the wall even with extra screws for support. We had to use our own screws because the head of the screw provided popped off and we were only using a screw driver. One of the small holes used to hold the lamp to the base was too large or not threaded for the screw so it could just be pulled out. Definitely buy different lamp.
