Description

Globe Electric's 32" multi-joint desk lamp with metal clamp is an ideal option for desk lighting. The spring loaded swing arm is easily adjustable to direct light wherever you need it the most while the metal clamp is perfect to mount on study tables, workstations or office desks. The 6-foot cord allows you the ability to place the light anywhere you want regardless of where your wall socket is located. The on/off switch is conveniently located at the top of the lamp for quick and easy use. Requires one 60 W max E26 base Edison bulb (sold separately).

Have had other versions of this basic design where the switch or the clamp were dodgy. This one I was pleasantly surprised came with a good sturdy metal bodied clamp, and not a plastic clamp like other similar lamps near this price point. No complaints about any other aspects. The switch and everything else just work, and it moves and stays where you point it. It does require a tiny bit of assembly, but it's easy. No tools were needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by David from A very good, adjustable desk lamp [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this lamp to replace an older, inferior, but similar lamp I've had for many years; however, the older one was weak and beginning to fall apart. This new one has a much stronger mounting clamp which will clamp onto a shelf up to 2" thick. The maximum reach of almost 32" allows for the coverage of a large desk area from many angles. I like it very much.

I can hardly believe what a tremendous value Globe is able to offer in their unit. It's very well designed and built, functions quite well, and most amazingly, is sold for a bargain. Rated 4 out of 5 by Tito256 from A little cheap on some of the components but... The clamp is strong. The spring are good. The only weak part is the neck I would call that hold the lightbulb head. That part is plastic. But it's priced accordingly. If you handle it, while paying attention to the neck, it might last years.
