Description

Seal your home or commercial building with this Dow window and door foam that's easy to use. The Smart Dispenser eliminates drips during use for a clean application and gives you control for accuracy. GREAT STUFF window and door sealant is a water-resistant polyurethane foam that repels water to prevent moisture damage. Use it for as long as 30 days after first opening the container. It helps reduce energy loss and increase energy efficiency by closing the gaps between openings and framework. Minimize potential drafts with this airtight closure that blocks out air. The minimal expanding foam has a quick drying time of 5 to 15 minutes to speed up the process. After curing, the foam retains its flexibility to allow for expected growth and shrinkage. There is 12 oz of yellow foam in one canister. Install this foam to stop infestation from insects, damage from condensation and a collection of allergens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Stuff Insulating Foam Sealant Window & Door Smart Dispenser is a great product that everybody that needs something to insulate gaps in the wall or between window/doors should have The product is easy to use and the instructions are very cleaver. The tool that came with the can helps a lot to make the product reach the most difficult gaps that I need the insulation to feel in. This insulating foam is water resistant and seals the area completely. It is flexible and allows for expansion and contraction. I recommend this brand and product, and I am very happy with the results I got using it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by PinkyT from Nightmare In A Can [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After following instructions on the can, screwing the top down well and applying this nightmare the straw blew off and foam was everywhere! My sister’s clothes were ruined and it was all over me too. Days of trying to get this crap off skin has turned into a real nightmare. The smart dispenser is actually a more horrible invention than I could have imagined, now praying this stuff will someday come off before losing any more skin to it. It expanded in cracks much more than I thought it would so even that wasn’t quite what I wanted. Pretty sure my sister hates me now and won’t be helping me anymore.

It was a decent size hole. He put this great stuff on it and it sealed it right up! We've had a stormy week here and no issues in the trunk. We also have a Florida room with windows all the way down. When it rains waiter gets into the room. So we used the great stuff and it was very easy to dispense with the straw attachment. Easy to get into the crevices and the hard to reach spots. Everything has been sealed and kept dry. I'm very happy with it and looking for more issues to use it on.

It has a long spout as long as the can to get into tight spaces and very precisely. I like the ability to get it where it should be and not on me! Also new is its ability to expand and contract with the temperature,plus it is water resistant and is better then fiberglass. I used it around a drafty door,at the bottom it always seemed to leak cold air in the winter,sprayed it and right after that northeast wind 25 mph and no draft. Try this it works, Better then that long tail thing blocking the breeze!

We used this a little differently than intended, and filled a plastic cauldron with a couple heavy rocks and newspaper. Covered this with saran wrap, and used the insulation foam to create witches brew. We added rubber ears, eyeballs, etc and have a fun Halloween decoration. It was easy to spray, the straw piece made it easy to fill in exactly where we wanted it to go. It formed a tight seal as well. I will definately use this for home projects now that I see how easy it is to use.

It is a big improvement over the older style foam insulation. This product has a smart dispenser that allows you to use the amount you need and store the remainder for up to four weeks. Read the directions before using and only fill to 50% capacity since the foam will expand. the excess can be trimmed with a razor if needed. does a great job of insulating and waterproofing, this is a great product from Great Stuff!

The dispensing tip is great. The tip is designed to eliminate messy drips and it does just that. Super easy to use without the messy clean up. This foam expands to fill gaps with an airtight and waterproof bond. It creates a super seal that locks out any air or moisture. The product exceeded my expectations. I will continue to use this brand and product for future home projects.

I was able to seal around my front door and a couple of windows in no time at all with just one can, and it was super easy. The smart dispenser is really long which gives a much more precise application than I expected. The foam expands nicely but also dries quite quickly, so there is definitely a learning curve and you may need to trim some excess foam. I recommend taking your time and wearing gloves. Overall, this is a top-notch product!
