Mitre Saw Stand - 12" Saw Max - 8' - 400 lb Capacity is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 68.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The stand is great! this miter saw stand came with the purchase of a hitachi miter saw. I'm not sure why others are complaining in their review. The stand is sturdy. It makes cutting a breeze. You can leave the saw on the stand and wheel it around where you want it. Saw can be stored on stand in vertical position. Given that I paid nothing for the stand,I am very happy with it. If there is one thing that I'd change, the wheels should be where the handles are, and the handles should be where the wheels are. It would make folding up the legs more convenient. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beefy saw stand Bought this stand yesterday and put it together today. The stand is very sturdy and was about 75 percent assembled out of the box. It went together quickly and there is a lot of adjustment ability side to side and front to back so that I would thing there would be no trouble mounting any brand saw. My saw is a Hitachi so naturally there was no issue with fitment. The stand sits nice and level, I like the side extensions and the stops for repeat cuts. The saw is very easy to install on the stand using the universal brackets. My only wish is that it would stand upright while folded but it does not and for that reason I deducted one star. Overall I like the stand and would recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy duty Hitachi stand I have needed a miter saw stand for several years to do large moldings for picture frames. Most of the stands I checked out did not have a strong enough frame for the load or were not accurate. This one has exceptional frame strength. It may not have extensions that go out as far as others, but it handles a heavy load and has quick lock legs. Even the wheels are heavy duty. The weight is high at 50 lbs which makes the saw cuts more precise and secure. The cross frames allow me to mount any brand of saw, even my 30 years old Ryobi.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice but... great stand, few issues.. the only problem I had was with the stop raiser on the extension, one of my guys knuckeled it down and broke one of little tack welds they had, took it to my shop, put a full weld around it, no problem now..I see that people are complaining about the arrangement of the legs..if you go ahead and drop the wheel side, then drop the handle side. you don't have to hop back and forth to stand it up, there is minimal sag in the extensions, the stops do have abit of play, but, I just push hard against it when I set it, and it works beautifully, it's not a shop tool, it's made for the move just like any tool you have to learn it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent stand for the price I am actually quite impressed with this stand. My only complaint is the way the one adjustable workpiece support is offset the wrong way so that your workpiece only hits a few inches of it. BUT, I just pulled it out and flipped it and it works fine! The way the legs fold up is a little backwards but as another reviewer noted it is not a problem. Assembly was pretty easy, just read the directions and be smarter than the parts you are assembling and you will be fine ;)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap hardware The bolts to assemble this stand are very soft steel and strip easily.I fixed this problem by purchasing 4 button head hex bolts that were the same size of the square rail bolts. No more problems changing out a saw or removing a saw from the stand. Its sad that this wasn't the method the manufacturer used. The stand is very sturdy and easy to transport.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Saw Stand to Satisfy My Brand OCD I've had a Hitachi miter saw for awhile now and wanted a matching stand. When I bought the saw, Lowe's didn't have any Hitachi stands for sale, so I ended up buying an off brand stand online. It worked alright, but I could only mount the front holes to the stand, since my saw's mounting holes were offset, front to back. This stand has a universal mount that allowed me to mount all 4 points to the stand, making it more secure. One thing to point out, the product photos show someone moving the stand while the saw is attached. The user guide warns against this. Not really a huge issue, since the mounting brackets have a quick release. Just remove the saw, move the stand, place saw back on stand and secure. The only negative that I can think of is the collapsible legs. The way they collapse works against you. The opposite wheel side collapses first, then wheel side. Just means you have to go back and forth an extra time when you're moving the stand. Not a huge deal, but a minor inconvenience.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for me I was split between this stand and the similar Kobalt one for $10 less. I have a Kobalt 10" miter and wanted something to make storing, moving and setting it up easier. I went with this one because I expected a bit more quality for mostly similar products. The stand's components seemed to be acceptable quality, but while assembling I noted the stand doesn't have an adjustable leg, and I had difficulty finding a level spot for it to stand on in my uneven floored basement. The Kobalt one did. When I went to install the wheels, the bushings between the bolts and the wheels were too tight to slide over the bolts, making it impossible to install the wheels. I didn't wait to get to strike 3 and just returned it to Lowes, planning on getting the Kobalt. When I got to Lowes, I noticed the Delta stand on sale for about $10 more than this one and sprung for that instead. I'm glad I did as the quality is quite good and the folding operation is much smoother and less labor intensive, and it's highly stable while folded upright, making storage of the saw on the stand very easy.
