No I wouldn’t recommend that as the lights are all connected in sections. If you cut it it won’t work anymore.

This tree is EPICWe are in a newer condo, so per the trend, we have very little floor space but ample ceiling height in the living room (10ft is the new standard). This is the biggest, skinniest tree we can fine. This tree is dense - 3 times the volume as our last tree. This tree does take 2 people to put up due to its weight. I can't reach the tree top on a 3-step ladder to put the star on. I will need to sew 3 separate tree bags to contain this monster.
But set up was super easy - the branches are not metal (it fluffs out on its own) so literally plug'n'play - put the 3 sections together and plug it into the socket and voila! instant tree.
The reason for 4-stars is because the tree shape is not pristine. Because it's not metal branches, you can't re-shape the tree. It's especially annoying at the tree top - That last branch is not in "perfect" position and you can't shape it. Also, couple light bulbs were crushed out of the box, but it was easy enough to locate (each 4 or 6 inches of tree has its on power line) it does come with 2 bags of spares.
But please - considering the price, this tree is exciting luxury in our little abode.

Well made, nice looking tree!Bought this on sale last month and we have had it up and working for a couple of weeks now. The tree was very easy to put together. We love the fact that each section also connects the power for the lights so you don't have to look through all the branches and look for the connectors like a lot of other trees. It is a tall tree more ideal for rooms with vaulted ceilings. The lights are nice and spread out evenly so it's not to bright- some trees I find over do it and overwhelms everything all the other decorations. The only thing to keep in mind is that since it is such a tall and slender tree to make sure you set it up on a flat stable surface as it can be a bit tippy. If you really like loading up the tree with decorations, you might even consider putting something on a couple of the tree stand legs to anchor it in place. Other than that it's a really nice tree and very well made!

Lights not workingPicked this tree up today, lights not working in an entire section. Followed instructions and looked at all the bulbs in that section nothing loose and nothing broken. Big box carried to the car and inside house. Came home and put the tree up, realized when my son was decorating that the entire section was not working. Disappointed; we were all excited to pick up the tree. It’s beautiful and now that section is flicking on and off every couple minutes. For the amount of money spent will have to return and try my luck on another.

Beyond ExpectationsI ordered this tree a week ago and recieved it within a week. Very impressed with the duration of delivery. The set up is very easy. The tree is way nicer than I expected. All the lights are working and the branches are full, no big gaps in between the three sections. A very good price for a tree of this quality

Great tree for clearance price!Just picked this up on boxing day. our old tree at 10 years old has blown a ton of bulbs and is not good so we decided to get this tree on clearance. For $95 you can’t beat it. I set it up today just to make sure all the lights worked and they did. Will keep it up till Jan 1. Hope it lasts a few years. Set up was much faster than my old tree with this new tree having center pole plugs. Yes a few gaps in the tree and it’s not as full as our old one, but with some shaping and decorations will look great.
